2 hours. It took 2 hours to get home. Normally 30 minutes, 40 tops. Today, two hours! wrecks and idiot drivers.. that is a long time to be stuck in traffic.

Wanna know what really bugs me, Satnav - or more to the point Taxi Drivers who use it.

How many times in London have I got into a Taxi and the Satnav has stopped working so the cockend that is driving has absolutely NO idea where to go.

I remember when Taxi Drivers had to pass tests on the area they served to be Taxi Drivers.

Gah, what is worse is when you get someone who speaks very little English (which happens alot in my area) driving. When HE loses Satnav, you're down right FUNKED.

my vent - I'm hating commercial radio and the obligation that offices feel to play it all day everyday.
I hate it because a) this faux lesbian trend is pathetic. b) I'm sick of hearing the same 6 or so songs on repeat all day long and c) Even when they have the ad free 50 minutes they still advertise the fact that they playing an ad free 50... doesn't this defeat the purpose? Stupid, stupid, stupid.

I have stomach cramps for no reason and I'm currently writing the rejection letters for two positions we had advertised at my company
I'm sure this gives me bad karma or soemthing, merrily typing letters that crush people's hopes and dreams!

My Detroit Lions suck...they will soon play my dads team, the Bears...I fear the outcome, and the teasing that will likely come with it. (I didn't rub it in last year when the Lions beat the Bears twice, but I expect no such mercy from Pops.)

maybe if i withhold your nickname alittle longer you can learn to vent better, Mr. Life-is-so-rosey-I-gotta-invent-headaches-just-to-complain! This is a venting board, and you sir, are just a bleedin tourist! Adieu.

Now that was just mean. I didn´t invent. I had a very bad headache. You´re calling me a liar?! You really don´t know me. Ok, this we already knew. Granted, there´s way worse things than a headache (which I´ve already admited). You sir, are pure pure evil! 😉


I´m unemplyed.
There are jobs for me that I want (at least as a substitue teacher).
Teachers and princpals usually wants me to work (really depending on which class it is).
So that usually means lots of work every month.
Still I´m not working.

Why?

If I work just one more day this rule (which is supposed to help people get jobs) says that if I work just one more day (that happens then you´ve worked enough hours/days/years) they need to hire me long-term.
Not a decision they usually want to make. Subsitute teachers = cheaper so they save money.
Now the municipality needs to save 21 000 000 Skr (which is a LOT for a such a small municipality). So that pretty much mean no more employments at all. So if I don´t get this last job I applied for (very unlikely) I´m pretty much screwed for the rest of thet year. Woo hoo!

Give me something to vent about... how about friggin Adobe products? I used to boycott the company but like a trained monkey I gave in... I spent over two grand (US dollars, no less!) for Design Suite crap. WHY do they feel the need to reinvent the software every year?? Now I am reading about the 'perks' in CS4.. for pete's sake, how much blood do you want to drain from me?
