I think i'll plug my laptop into the internet in the vain hope it works. Getting desperate.

My phone was out of battery so I to get the charger I REMEMBER bringing it upstairs but no its gone! So I pull my room apart,give up because I cant find it. The guess that its down stairs in the plug socket.I know I brought it up with me I remember. Then I plug it in and im sure I turned it on but no my phone turns off &the plugs off.My mouth tastes like perfume & I think my hairs falling out.I havent spoken to people in ages I miss them. Im frustrated and upset. I dont want to be here any more.

About a year ago since I fell in love with this place so I looked up a few other boards to join. With the same intent as here, mostly read and maybe do a post once and again but never being very active. Found a Harry Potter one that looked good (reminded me of this one) so I joined. Showed that the admin is the one giving all new members access and since she visits the boards maybe evey three months at best (which I couldn't know at the time since you couldn't read the threads until you gained access. Should have seen that as a bad sign.) it took months before I could get in. Lorneytunes have waited more than this year to gain access I think. Once in I got sorted and got into my dorm I noticed that it had some nice people so I decided to give it a chance, even if I never got to know them very well. And lately there's been problem again. First one (this is for everyone) got a blank page when going to the site. After about a week you could see the mainpage but don't log in and now after another week (more or less) you can log in and actually create new threads (at least in some parts of the board) but don't read a single post. Which means a lot of people just post their email adress in the topic just so people can keep in touch. So I'm 99,99% sure I've given up on that place now since it clearly show the admin have. Having a busy life is one thing but this is just too much.

So if anyone know of a good HP board I'd love to hear about it. Not like I need somewhere to post but a place to check into every once and again would be nice.

Have you checked out The Leaky Lounge and MyLeaky over at The Leaky Cauldron? I haven't spent much time there (although, I do mean to, eventually). I do know, however, that the people who run TLC are awesome and wonderful and very dedicated. (And if you haven't checked out Pottercast yet, you absolutely need to 100%.)

If you do take a look over there, or if you know what it's like already, I'd be interested in hearing what it's like.


Anyway, ventwise, er....it's too hot? I dunno, it's all good just now. I did think it was Wednesday all day today though, and seeing as I was all ready to go up town "tomorrow", I'm kind of annoyed that I have to wait.

They've just raised the rents in NYC AGAIN. My mom is on a fixed income, and if she ends up on the street because of this classist/racist nonsense (which is what it is, I mean who are they kidding?) then I am physically going to hurt someone......

I just spent the evening removing all the duplicate channels and the crap home shopping channels and the like from my tv channel listing. Out of the 900+ they list, I have 111 watchable channels.
 
I am never going to eat properly again, am I?
I say I'll lose weight, but you bet I'm gonna be twice the size I am now in a year. I'll never be able to do what I want if I don't stop eating, and start exercising.
Why can't I be one of the girls who can eat what they want, never move off the sofa, and stay beautiful and slender?
 
Sooo mad boiling with rage. The f***king computer man has hd the computer over a week TOLD us itd be ready today but NO. ITll be ready tomorrow or will it? Will it be another sorry no. F***king fool. Its not a game to play with people. im so mad i could cry.

The internet can be quite the bitca aye...I witnessed it today. Seriously, I post fanfics(Imagination have to come out in some form) and I was pretty happy about this one. It was like...17 chapters, and I really put a lot of work into it. I got a review, and I quote:

"This story f**king suck. You write like shit, and I don't like the story. I hate the characters, and your grammar is bad. Learn how to write, and spell ret**d."

Wonderful repsond to get don't you think? I don't think I'm THAT bad a writer, nor a bad spelling...type of...person. I'm still hurt, though...If someone don't like the story, or even the characaters(Who I didn't create) then don't read the fanfics! Jesus Christ on rollerblades....

I WANT TO GO TO SCHOOL.

But it seems my mum never wants to talk about it. She's all concerned about me getting a job. I need help with school, not a job. And then my sister who is Satan in the flesh, always rants about how I need a job first to prove myself of being worthy for school. She's a stupid idiot.

I proved myself worthy by graduating from high school. And I prove myself worthy by saying every day how much I just want to go to school. Ugh, now I'm getting all upset and I'm gonna cry.

There's a disc stuck in my laptop!! It's refusing to come out 🙁

It's not even my disc!! It's one of my music teachers personal cds! Plus this stops me playing sims!! :'(

Anyone got any suggestions?
I tried ejecting it from My Computer, i tunes, the little button thingy on my laptop, and still nothing!

Restart and try again? Might not help at all but one of the first things one usually tries and for some reason it sometimes work.

You should try opening up your laptop while it's still on. Trust me on this one...
