Veruca-who else hates her?

Yeah, given the fact she was written into the show to be hated I'd say it's not surprising that so many of you do exactly that.

Personally I think she was a little wasted as a character because of the fact she was there to serve the purpose of writing Oz out of the show and so only stuck around for as long as it took to do so. Had it happened differently with Oz staying on the show but having to deal with his feelings for both Willow and a more likable Veruca over the whole season then I'd say many may have felt different. As it was she was written with no redeeming qualities and so there is little there to like.

Although she really was damn hot! 😉
 
Animal-like sex appeal is the way to go for me, so yeah, she was hot and sexy. 🙂 Character was created to be as indecent and abhorring as any Vampire that came and went through the show, without killing anyone (I guess she did rip out Willow's heart, but she didn't kill anyone).
But I guess I didn't get a chance to really hate her, honestly and passionately. I would've liked to see more of her, though, at least in the sense that she would've brought Oz out of lethargy and made him a true and honest to God male, even if for a little while.
 
oh just the guts part of her.... yes very much, i was thinking the other day how i like everyone on buffy and then i get to her little stint on the show (as im watching it thru again) and i was like, oh yeah i hate her, yay for me i hate somebody on the show.
 
She makes me so ANGRY! I was glad when Oz killed her. At the same time though Oz could have done something more to stop the situation...He should have talked to Willow about it. I know that he may be embarassed by his wolfiness but he should know that Willow wants to help him any way she can. So the whole Veruca thing makes me sad an everything but then we wouldn't have Tillow. So I do feel that everything happens for a reason. :smile:
 
Everyone's right, I think. Veruca was meant to be hated. Boy, do I hate her... I could ramble all day and night about it...
 
Did every single person in this topic say they hated her?

I seriously really liked her.. and I'm not saying that because she was a chick and she was 'hot'. Actually I thought lookswise she was just above average. I really liked her character though. I thought the character was really interesting, and I wouldn't have minded seeing more of her. No idea what her real name is, but I thought her acting was top notch.

I also disagree with people that say she broke up Willow and Oz. Sure, she wouldn't win any marriage guidance awards, but she was just the tip of a big iceberg.
 
I didn't like her because I think that women should stop turning on themselves and seeing each other as competition and start treating each other better. I hate women that are homewreckers. I think most women dislike other women that try to hurt other women's lives.

Oh yes, and I don't get jealous of people that turn into dogs!!! hehe. I like my human shape very much!
 
Personally, I always wish she'd put on some clothes. Sure, sure, she looks like a "normal" girl, but for someone who spends almost a whole episode practically naked, she really needs a little spray tan or better fitting bras or something. She just looked kind of "ICK" of course, she was a werewolf, maybe she looks good for a werewolf.

I thought that too. She did not look good semi naked.
I HATE her!! thank god we never heard from her again. She thought she was better than willow just because she was a werewolf like oz. And the fact that she didnt lock herself (and tried to convince Oz to do the same thing) shows how lame she is. (i mean, she wasnt worried that she could harm someone!! ..)

Hah! I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks that. Apart from Veruca just being selfish and manipulative, the song the actress had to lip sync seems to really irritate me. I think it must be the voice of the singer, and/or the weird faces Veruca's making at the microphone through the song. It wigs me out!
