So I just started watching this for the first time. I had heard great things bought it finally then was encouraged by Suz (soulunsung) made me want to watch even more 😛
I have to say I am liking it a lot so far. I am up to episode five right now. I like the actors and it is different than what I had first thought of it. I thought it was just a space show that right there shows how wrong I was.
Anyways I see why everyone takes a liking to the show now.​

I just started watching it today also! Snice I don't have school today (or anything else to do 😀 ) all I have been doing is watching it.
I am already on the 9th ep! Its amazing.

I am done with it finished it not yesterday but the day before. So glad I watched this. It was good and I loved the movie Serenity so much. I think it may be one of my favorites.
My favorite characters were
River
Simon
Kaylee

I like Mal and the others a lot as well but those three I really love. It just sucks that we only saw the characters for such a short time. I was so sad at what happened in the movie.
Also Jayne is a total goof and I love it.
Does Inara remind anyone of Kristin Kreuk? The way she talks or her mannerisms something. I haven't pinpointed it but I think it is the way she talks that reminds me of her.

Oooh, TSCC is a fantastic show. Summer as Cameron, is a great role. You'll definitely enjoy it once you get around to watching it. Next to River and Bennett on Dollhouse, that's one of my favorite roles to see her in and I totally shipped Cameron/John.

Yeah, definitely pick up Serenity on dvd whenever you can. Sometimes, you can get a good deal on it. Like, I bought a copy of it for one of my friends as a Christmas gift trying to introduce her into the world of Joss Whedon and also a copy of Firefly, when they had both on sale. Think I gave like $20 bucks for the boxset and maybe $10 for the movie, not a bad deal at all. 😉

Ooh Book, I really liked him quite a bit. And I do feel like he had quite a story to tell finish telling, if Joss hadn't off'ed him. But, I did so enjoy that death scene and well done it was, in Serenity. The one that gutted me was Wash, but then again I knew that death was coming because that's just how Joss rolls.

Ooh, as soon as you are finished with TSCC, you must MUST must watch Alias, because really the my favorite thing about that series was the father/daughter relationship between Spy!Daddy and Spy!Daughter. Plus, it had such a fantastic cast and even better villians that were so great at being villiany.

Haha, I think Wal-Mart is where I ended up getting her the Serenity dvd, but it was some place else that had Firefly on-sale. And this was a while back, anyway. But, yay that you got it and yay for good deals on Whedon merchandise.

I just figured Wash would die myself, because that's just what Joss does. Book, I kind of didn't see that one coming and I do agree with your thoughts on how it showed another side to Mal.

Aack! Deleted Mal/Inara scenes?! I watched the series on Netflix, but I do have the Blu-Rays, so I guess it's time to break them out! After I rewatch on Science Channel with the added science bits that is.

I've recently started watching Firefly and I have to say, I love it. It took a while to really get the concepts like the whole Chinese thing, but it's really clever. I've just finished Jaynestown at the moment, I love the Shepherd and Inarra (she's so beautiful!). I didn't think I'd warm to Nathan as much I have, he portrays Mal really well though. Makes him seem almost nice, even though he's not exactly supposed to be.
