I desided to make a thread where anyone can talk about the Potential Slayer/Slayer Vi.

We first met her in season seven during the "Showtime" episode. She was featured in every other 'potential' based episode. In the last episode, she was made into a Slayer along with the others and went into the Hellmouth to fight the Turak-Hons.

What did you think of her?

She was my favorite Potential Slayer. I really liked her, IE: my signature has a banner that says I'm a fan, LoL.
 
You know that scene in Potential when Buffy drops the stake on the floor, then walks out, leaving the potentials alone with the vampire?

If you ever get a chance to see that scene again, look in the background, and check out the look on Vi's face. It's classic.

Vi's transformation from geek to Warrior girl was amazing.

I can watch the battle in the cave from Chosen over and over again, just to watch Vi looking tough in a tight blue jean shirt, hack and whack like the secret fiery redhead she's always been under the geeky exterior.

Yes, she was awesome! One of the better potentials-she had this fire in her in the last eppie that was just amazing. Funny hat or not, your eyes were always drawn to her and that says alot for Felicia Day.
 
When you say it like that, she did the same thing in one season, what took Willow about 7 seasons lol.
 
Actually Vi isn't quite where Willow is yet.

Vi has no hesitation in using her power once she gets it.

She doesn't appear to have any fear of the dark side.

Also, you have to remember, Vi gets her power much quicker than Willow does.
 
I always watch the "chosen" battle. Vi didn't get hit once, or if she did they didn't show us. I think she was a lot better than a lot of the potentials. She never had the "run" attitude. She said "maybe we should run" in "showtime" but she was never that fearful or that stupid like Annabelle was in "Bring on the night". I made my own Buffy Season 8 and she's a recurring character, LoL.

Dude, this is not a real debate of any kind. Just the red headed dorky shy girl, becoming the confident powerful woman. Which is kind of the same thing with Willow.
 
This is my thread and I'm lost. NH4 is talking about Willow and Allycat is talking about debating. I'm confused...

I agree. Willow and Vi have similarities.
 
I'm part of the Felicia Day (Vi) fan listing. Although the people on the website never added me. I liked her better than Kennedy. I didn't really like Kennedy because she never knew her place. Vi always did what she was told.
 
I know what you mean Parker. In a way she kind of reminds of Molly in that respect, except Molly seems to have a different motive.

Molly just seems to have this blind adulation of Buffy. She'll do whatever Buffy says. They're lucky Molly wasn't around in Empty Places, or 2 people would have walked out the door.

Vi seems to want to be part of the group.

Remember when she first appears, and she's sitting there on the floor, in her dorky outfit, with the other Potentials?

She's trying to butt in on the conversation, and Rona (I think it is) is giving her this, "Whatever..." look.
 
I don't know if it was Rona. Oh it was Eve! I think, wait, let me look for the script. But, yeah, I know what you mean.

I think Molly would have walked out of the house too, LoL.
 
She seemed to have someting that the other Potentials didn't have. I'm not sure what it was, but you noticved her, even though she was in as many eps as Kennedy and was just sort of in the background, but you really got to konkw her anyways. I shipped her and Andrew in one of my ficcs because I thought it would be funny.. Go Vandrew
