Hey.
For ages Ive been interested in making Buffy videos, and I was wondering whether someone could tell me what kinda stuff I need, like software or whatever.

hey lee,
I use "Windows Movie Maker" which you get like parts of vedeios (which you can download) or pictures or anything and you can put it to music. There is an older version and newer one so make sure you get the new one. if u search for it on kazaa or google it can be easuly found 🙂

Now....I gotta figure out how the hell you use it...
Do you like have to have a video camera, or some sorta...connection?
 
Ok, so, thanks to the wonderful brains of Alyson, I understand most of it now, and I can do vids.
I still have a little problem, thats kinda important, lol, I have no idea where to get video clips from, I mean, I have the DVD's but I dont think it works, does anyone know where to get good clips that'll work?
 
well the only major places you can get clips from without getting it off of your video/DVD is Kazza and other filesharing places.

I use Vegas Video to make music videos. And to rip DVD clips I use a program called DVDx. It was much harder for me to use downloaded the clips, because the quality is mixed and it takes much longer. Are you sure you can't rip from DVDs?
 
Im only using Microsoft Movie Maker at the moment...but I'd be willing to try and find DVDx, as long as its free, lol!

I think its very easy to tell when someone does that, I could see clips taken from other videos in some vids i downloaded.
 
does anyone know how to get DVDx? or can i just extract from a dvd using like windows media player or something? i have kazaa but its a pain to download clips and the quality is crappy.

I tried doing that on WMM, but...didnt work...pooey...unless Im doing it wrong..
 
edit: I just looked back at the old forum I posted on like a year ago with the same questions (I'm surprised that the thread is still alive), and DVDx can be found at http://www.doom9.org

I didn't check to see if the link is still working or anything, but that's where I went a while back.
 
Thanks, when I get my new laptop I might start ripping some of my S6 DVDs, as I could make a few videos out of that. Out of intrest, how long does an episode normally take?
 
When I save Videos from WMM it saves under *MSWMM and that only. Where can I upload videos in that format and if possible can I change it's format?

Where Can I upload my music Videos? Thier format is ".WMV"

And if possible could sometime tell me how to make it a ".zip" file?
