I love playing video games and I know that people around here must also. Especially with the fact buffy is a video game (or 2, or 3) and I wanted to know who here had similar tastes in games and what not. So, I would love to know what you all like.

I love anything old school Super Mario and I love Donkey Kong.
Tomb Raider is my favorite. I loved Legend unlike most. I realize it was short but I found it still a lot of fun and didn't get too frustrated. I have owned TR: Anniversary since the day it came out and still have not finished it. Oh ya, it's a pain, but I still love it.

I also really enjoy my Buffy games, Chaos Bleeds and my game for Gameboy Sp. And Who doesn't love GTA? I have so much fun with San Andreas. Somtimes I turn it on to just drive around and kill people. I have not played Liberty City Stories yet but I want to get it.

I also like Hockey games and anything adventurous.

Good game choices, thread. Gotta play TR: Anniversary myself.
Let's see...I think my ultimate faves are the SSX snowboarding games. Love those, never really get sick of them either. And the Tony Hawk games are alright.

Also like almost any superhero game, even crappy film tie-in games. Although, Spider-Man 3 was a horrible, horrible game. You wanna chuck your controller out the window after 10 minutes or so, out of frustration. What an insult that thing is. But Spider-Man 2, the X-Men RPGs, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, those are fun. Hulk Ultimate Destruction...anything where you can break stuff, slay your enemies, heh. The God of War games are pretty cool. Thought Chaos Bleeds was fun. That's the only Buffy game I've tried.

The truly gory, excessively bloody games just depress me, can't get into those.

the Buffy games of course, but i only own the first one

GTA LOVE Vice City i own it and the third one, personally i don't like San Andreas to much

X-Men Legends and X-Men Legends to, i think they're so fun and i love games with four different people fighting at once its so cool:cheering: and i own them both

of course the Tony Hawk games, i have Underground 1 and 2 and American Wasteland, i wanna play Project 8 so bad
i also like the original games they're more challenging in my opinion

oh ya, saying which systems you have, forgot about that. I have a nintendo, Snes, N64, Gameboy SP, PS2 and a Wii and 360 on the way. Just waiting on my brother to get it to me. I can't wait!

I am sad you don't like San Andreas Hearts, I found it was most fun. I have Vice city and III and I don't like em nearly as much. But I guess all our tastes differ for a reason.

I love the old skool Marios (3 especially), and a few of the Final Fantasies (6 and 9). I like the first Buffy, but still haven't managed to beat the second one (I'm stuck at Adam). I play the heck out of all the Spyros, Ratchet & Clanks, Jak & Daxters, and Kingdom Hearts . . .es. I also own Crash Bandicoot ("It is a test! You must collect these crystals. And fruit") and Croc but I don't play those as much.

I love video games so much I sell 'em. I love the Nintendo Wii's unusual ideas, but I wish they had a wider range of games that took advantage of it.

But on that note, if anybody wants to get a DS or Wii for Christmas, lemme tell you - go and get it now, they're going to sell out extremely soon. Jill's Top Toy For Christmas prediction.

Isn't ratchet and clank so much fun? I am still on Up Your Arsenal and have not beat it but I love it anyhow.
 
I'm not into video games these days as much as I used to be, but I still play old Super Nintendo, PlayStation and PS2 games that I played when I was younger just because it brings me back. I regularly finish and restart my old favorite games like Spyro, and Jak and Daxter. I also have a DS which I mostly just play Star Fox and old Atari games on, and I also play a lot of DDR on my PlayStation.
I actually still have a Super Nintendo which I mostly play Legend of Zelda and Wordtris on. XD
I also loved the Silent Hill games, especially the fourth one, and even though I never had an XBox myself, I played Splashdown a lot at my friend's house in seventh grade.
It's weird because I totally grew up around video games and I learned to play Tetris before I went to preschool but I'm really not a gamer at all, and I have horrible coordination for playing video games.

i have the chaos bleeds buffy one and was so happy when i finished it , :biggrin: ...lets see, i only have a ps2 and my gameboy color, that i havent used in a while,
i really like buffy. Dark angel, and Alias, and others tha are like that i like, world tour soccer, midnight club, tony hawks underground....stuff like that, and cant forget super Mario....
and i got one for pac man which is pretty cool

Oh hey, has anyone played any of the Lord of the Rings games? They were super fun but I remember I had the hardest time with them and I eventually gave up on Two Towers and just started playing the Harry Potter games instead.
 
Silent Hill are the bestest games ever, imho, because they do something so different. Like, every single element of 'em is chosen for effect... the sound, the controls, the "feel", everything. It's like... nearly everybody can think of the first album that made them really love music. I don't think I'll ever have my mind blown quite so much as I did the first time I played through Silent Hill 2.
 
I have Snes, Sega Megadrive (Sega Genesis), N64, PS and PS2. There are two games that are better than every game ever made. 1) Tekken 5 for Ps2 and 2) Bust-a-Move 3D for Snes 🙂
 
We (or actually epo) has a SNES and a PS2 (right?). We haven't been playing that much lately, but I always love when we do. We just bought a dancemat, just beause of this. I'm also planning on buying a Wii, like sometime soon, hm.
 
My big gaming days were back in the age of the N64. Mates round with a bit of Goldeneye and then The World Is Not Enough, you just couldn't beat it.

I got a Gamecube and then when they were really cheap an XBox (for Buffy, naturally), but modern gaming's too expensive for me and I usually find myself going back to the ol' N64.
 
Resident Evil are my favorites, but I love Tomb Raider too. Also, you know that game where you build rollercoasters, I was so addicted to it until it died on me. Oh, and pinball!
 
I love playing video games too, but only on PC. (I might get me an X-Box one day, cause I so want to play Chaos Bleeds.)

My favourite genre is RPG. I loved Fable and Oblivion, but my favourites are Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2. I also love the other RPGs based on the Aurora-engine like Neverwinter Nights 2 and Jade Empire.

I've played every single GTA-game that's come out on the PC. I always love those games. I also like RTS-games like Command & Conquer or Civilization and Empire Earth.

Occasionally I play games in other genres, but not a lot. I've played shooters like Call of Duty and in the sports-games genre I like FIFA, but it's not really where my heart lies.
 
Well I have a PS2, Wii, Gamecube, Nintendo(original), and N64

I love Chaos Bleeds but lately I have been playing the Wii a lot it is so much fun. I love to have a bunch of people over and we all play together it is pretty fun. I usually like to play story games that go along with movies/tv shows like right now I am working on Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix for the Wii. I also really love multiplayer games like mario party, mario kart and other mini game type games. And of course I love the classics like super mario etc. I can't wait for the new Super Smash Bros. and Super Mario games come out.

oooh i did once while i was at the hospital, had nothing to do, so i played it, and i had the hardest time with it too, im not sure how far i got but i know i didnt get very far at all lol

Yeah, it was way too hard, even on "Easy." It took me several weeks to beat Balin's Tomb, I think, and I couldn't get out of Fangorn Forest without having a boy from school come over to help me.
I don't think I actually have ever met anyone who has beaten those games. -_-
