xXx is awful, I'm sorry to say it but its a crappy rip off, of james bond. I love vin and most of his films but i can't lie, this was shit. The stunts...yeh they were good but well over the top. About 15 of my mates went to watch it with me and only 2 people liked it. What a shocker. James Bond is better anyday and Vin deisel was completely wasted in that role.

I did not just ::heart:: xXx coz vin is a total babe. I ::heart::d it coz i absolutely adore action films and stunts, and i think vin is a great actor too.
I think if you all like intelligent films, then youre right - its nto the best. But if you want a good action thriller with good acting and a stunning male lead, then this is THE film to see!

Last Saturday I went to see the movie and it was pretty good. Some lines were cheesy but his voice....my god.......he has such a beautiful voice ...really wow.....
That mountainscene was pretty cool only that Yelena girl got on my nerves with that Prague accent (no offence to the people who live in Prague😛 )

I cant believe people like that voice, does anyone find holtzs voice appealing? xXx is an okay film and doesnt deserve a thread this big!. Dont see xXx buy it when its on sale for £5.99 in the bargain basement DvD section where it belongs. ::tongue::
I was reading that Vin's stunt double died during the filming of xXx and Vin set up a college fund for his 3 kids. Rather sweet.

I just saw xXx last night and I laughed all the way through (possibly not for all the right reasons!). "Welcome to the Xander zone" was one line that had me in hysterics!!
It was quite a good action movie and good harmless fun and stunts etc. That's about it. Good acting? Er, not so much of it!
There is no way it is better than Bond! Bond will always be the ultimate spy! Sean Connery was the best and Pierce is doing a fab job too! There were some ridiculous lines in xXx that 007 could have possibly got away with (like the "I told you smoking would kill you" line), but not Xander Cage I'm afraid. He just sounded silly (and had me in stitches!). Also, if Bond is getting so old, then why have they totally copied the format? ("funny" lines, kissing the girl at the end while ignoring his boss?
Now on to Vin Diesel (this will make me popular!). I really do not find the man sexy in the least. I've only seen him in this film (I saw Saving Private Ryan at the cinema but don't remember him in it) and his acting just seemed really wooden (obviously I can only speak for this 1 movie). When he kissed the girl it was the LEAST-sexiest kiss I have ever seen - like a wet fish. I would not be paid to kiss that man! He has massive bulky arms and seriously huge man boobs that really don't do it for me! I can totally see WHY some people may find him attractive (big, manly, decent looking) but he just doesn't do it for me at all! In fact (you really are gonna hate me!) he reminds me of Arnold Schwarznegger! He sounds dumb when he talks and he is totally unfanciable!
I'll stop ranting now 😉

Fair enough, if everyone was the same and had the same opinions then life would be very boring.

Saying that i will be at the Scottish Premiere of the movie on the 19th, but only because all proceeds are going to a local charity i support which is a hospice for terminally ill children.

Sean was definitely the best Bond (soooo gorgeous too and that accent! Mmmm) but I've had a soft spot for Pierce ever since he was in Mrs Doubtfire. He is also great in the Thomas Crown Affair. I think that after Timothy Dalton and also George Lazenby he is a vast improvement. But that's just my opinion. And as you can see - a bit biased!
I know I can't really base his acting on that film - particularly as it is an action film with not articularly much dialogue for him to sink his teeth into. In that film he didn't seem that great though. I quite want to see Pitch Black and the Fast and the Furious so when I do I'll be able to make an informed decision then 🙂 I haven't heard of the other films though. I saw the beginning of Pitch Black!! It was on sky 2 nights ago!!! I only saw 1st half hour and you see vin and think hes scray but he says not one single word!!! Lol. Does he actually speak at all in it?!
