Question Visiting your Dorm

I voted yes but I only participate as much as a lurker usually does. I throw in a post every once in a while and participate in some of the monthly themes and such, but I don't seem to fit in very well so I'm not too active. I visit pretty much every time I go on BB though.

The dorms are super! Since Drogyn is the very best house, I find myself there so often it's almost creeptastic.

Actually the dorm is where I'm most active... especially since I stopped going to The Bronze. I reckon that about half my posts in the last half year was in VH. 🙂

I try to stay involved because I really like the idea of the dorms. I wish I had better gimp and/or Photoshop skills to make more themed banners for my dorm.

I might not be the most active drogynite ever... but I do love the place and I do check in and read everything.

It also stills feel like home, that I'm a part of Drogyn, even though I don't post on a daily or even weekly basis.

When I joined, it was a little awkward, I admit, and I wasn't that active. But once I got myself more into conversations, got to know the fellow Merrickans better, I felt more like I belong. But I think this is something common to most new members, in all dorms. I think new dormies feel it's a little hard to fit in at first, which is why you have to keep coming in and know you're welcome. Don't run away and stop posting! Just join conversations and activities, and I promise you'll fit in a love your dorm!

When I entered the position of Merrick's prefect, I knew I wanted to make new and old Merrickans feel welcome (they always are!), and enjoy their time at the dorm, and love their dorm. I hate it when new members feel left out, I feel personally bad.

Back on the topic, I try to post as much as I can, even if I don't post in the general board, I try spending time, even one post, in Merrick. It's really fun having that thing and I'm happy to be in Merrick, this is the best house IMO.

I love my dorm. I love posting there and I love the people in it. I think it's probably the place where I post most regularly. At least every time I'm on BB.

I love my dorm. I participate a lot. Lately not so much... but that's been a BB thing not a VH thing. Actually, when I'm on BB, most of the time I'm either in The Bronze or VH anyway. Just because it's been way too long since I've seen Buffy that I have nothing to contribute to the Buffy threads. Which is making me want to do a rewatch in a bit...

I love the dorms. I think I spend more time there than anywhere else on the board. I feel like it's easier to chat to people in there because there's less people so you don't tend to get overlooked and it's easier to join in compared to the rest of the board where everyone is posting all the time and it's like wow, big booaarddd 😛

That's just me though. I like how active the board is but I'm more comfortable with a small group of people than diving in where everyone is!

Yeah, I spend more time in my dorm than anywhere else, too. Like Zoà«, I haven't had a Buffy rewatch in ages, so I don't really join in the discussions because either I can't remember the episodes or I just have nothing interesting to add. I go to the Bronze quite a bit as well.
