Vulnerability In The Slayer Line

I think the problem is this:

Why is it you call Buffy reborn in "Bargaining"?

and

Why don't you call Buffy reborn in "Prophecy girl"?
 
That's just the way I'm frazing it. But the difference is Buffy was just dead for a Few minutes and was brought back. Bargaining meant everything about Buffy Summer's had to be recreated, including her status in the Slayer Line.


I'm sorry I even said my theory and If it proves I'm right I'm just gonna laugh and laugh.

My Theory is pretty solid if you think and actually think about it for a few.

The only solid thing is that first Buffy was returned without the help of supernatural forces and the second time with help from supernatural forces. The only thing that would make your theory work is if those supernatural forces made her "wrong" as it did. Tara explained it but I cant fully recall what she said. The theory then would be that she came back, not as Buffy but as a new person that so happens to be the next in line for slayerage. But since she has already been a slayer and still has the power the void isnt there and the power cannot go into her but instead it fades away.

Is that what you meant in a more well put way? 😉
 
Mostly everything you said is what I mean except the not-Buffy thing. She is Buffy. That's the problem.

Buffy dies in Season 1. Line continues through Kendra and Buffy is dead to the line. That's why her death in Season 5 didn't spark a new Slayer.

Buffy is brought back. Since being a potential is something put into you at Birth, Buffy being brought back meant she is put back in the Slayer potential line.

Kill all the SIT's plus Faith and Buffy is the only 'potential' left. But since she already has been a Slayer, there is a once only rule and the power stops.

Now while there could be more SIT's, the power can never get to them since the its through Buffy, but Buffy can never actually recieve the Slayerness.

Power stops exsisting since Buffy will never access it and even if she dies a Third time, since she never got the power, it can't be passed on to a new SIT when they are old enough to recieve it.
 
The theory about Buffy being born again after season 5 was good. But also I read in a future spoiler that the first takes on Buffy's corporal form or something? So what if the First was to take the power of the slayer by killing everyone off and being chosen as the slayer? ???
