I think Wolfram and Hart were great villians. That is until season 5 came along and they started looking cartoony.

I've never really considered it, but I think you might be right.
What I loved about Wolfram and Hart was Lindsey!! He was such a great character. He had his evil moments! He had his sad moments. He had his cocky moments. But most of all he was so funny and sarcastic and carefree sometimes, idk if that's the right word but he was great. He's why I love Wolfram and Hart. Even though they are evil!!!

i liked w&h as the baddy for awhile, but then i just wanted it to die. im more for the buffy world where you have one "big bad" per season. having said that, i would have been ok with w&h for more than one season.......but 5 seasons?!........and its still around?! the senior partners need to go.

But Wolfram & Hart was a perfect villain to have for an entire series. It made much more sense to me anyway, than having a new bad guy pop up, and have them beaten in time for May sweeps. W&H was full of interesting people, they were mysterious, etc. Definitely intriguing and I think it would have been a huge mistake had they gotten rid of them after a season or so. The cool thing about it is that they've been around for SO long and reach through so many dimensions. And it's not like they were the only enemies Angel had to fight.
I think it would have been cool to see W&H have some kind of effect over BtVS, as you'd think they'd be interested in the Slayer.

I think I love Wolfram and Hart just as much as I hate them. They really are great villians. And come one we got Lilah. She is so funny. Always trying to be so bad, but always such a chicken where Angel's concerned. Ya, just love 'em. And the name is very unique with the books and such. Yup, love it all.

Like you guys said, I think W&H were great villains. They fit in perfectly in the Angelverse. I don't think the 'constant lawyer villain' thng would have ever worked in Sunnydale, but it fit fantastically in Angel's world.
Because while you technically did get different big bads every year (whether from Wolfram and Hart or other sources)you had this one constant- and you never knew whether it was a time they were trying to corrupt or kill Angel or if it was one of those rare times where they needed his help.
Plus, I thought Lilah was just one of the best villains ever. I love it when you see a shred of humanity and/or goodness in a villain as it just...erm, intrigues me, I guess, and you totally got that with Lilah. Especially when she started screwing Wesley (Screwing is the apt word here, no? hehe)
