Four tourists recorded themselves hiking across New Zealand. Here's the footage of them walking across a suspension bridge.... as the bridge collapses.

That confirms it: Hiking is hazardous to your health.

One of the bridge’s suspension cables snapped causing it to bend. There is more of the video here, with slow-mo and a better view of the bridge at the end.

It looked like the four of them were marching in step so if they hit the resonant frequency of the bridge they would overstress it. But something had to be wrong for the upper left cable to break like that.
