I got this from the Angel's Soul spoiler boards

In her latest Watch with Wanda column, Wanda has spoilers for both Angel and Buffy. Here is the Angel part and it confirms a lot of what we have heard already. Looks like an interesting season ahead.

Watch with Wanda
Cordeeeeeelia, Where Aaaaare You? Don't panic, Charisma Carpenter will be back. "Charisma is a regular," Joss confirmed. But Cordelia will be "missing" from L.A. for the first few episodes, chilling in her higher plane and "gathering forces." Word is that when she returns, she will be different. And this time, we're talkin' more than hair.

WANDA GIVEAWAY!

Chat Monday, and you're entered to win cool Angel & Buffy guidebooks (Read the rules.)

Vegas, Baby! An entire episode will take place in Sin City, where the gang meets up with everyone's favorite green guy (later for Kermit!), Lorne. Spawning from the success of his CD of last season, Songs for the Love, Lorne, we find out Lorne now has his own show in Vegas. "It's Tom Jones meets Liberace meets Lorne," says new Angel chief David Simkins. "That's where the trouble starts."

Nude Nudes!! Nope, we're not talking Vegas lap dances. Apparently, Joss Whedon asked Amy Acker (Fred), Alexis Denisof (Wesley) and J. August Richards (Gunn) if they had a problem with getting naked. Hmmm, love triangle turned ménage à  trois? Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Under the Sea: When Angel returns, we've moved forward three months, and we learn that Gunn and Fred have spent the entire summer together, wondering where the bejesus everyone went. They'll decide with Connor/Steve/C. Diddy to go search for papa Angel, who has spent his own summer days in that not so luxurious underwater resort. Lest any of you be worried, the rest of the series won't take place in a wooden box. Angel will indeed break free.

Big Bad Wesley? Wesley won't be making amends with Angel or reuniting with the gang anytime soon. Simkins said they will "continue to explore his relationship with Wolfram and Hart."

Dead Man Walking: As I mentioned in last week's chat, I asked Joss about a premilinary script in which a main character is pronounced "dead," and he said he had absolutely no intention of doing that. A revised version sets up the same scene (a fight between the main character and the aforementioned Gwen, but this time he lives. Make of that what you will.

Cordangel's Slow Dance Word is that Angelus will rear his fangy head midseason. We all know what that normally means--Angel's vampy side appears when he experiences true love, and I'm sort of doubting it's with Wesley. Still, expect the trip down lover's lane to go as fast as a snail in molasses. Not only is Cordy MIA for the beginning of the season, but in the first ep, The powers that be decided to tone down the warm fuzzies. When Angel tries to persuade a character named Gwen (an ElectraGirl of sorts) to hand over an ancient relic called the Axis, which he needs to locate Cordy, he originally referred to her as "someone I love very much." The line was changed to "someone very important to me."

Five Alive: Sounds like Joss is truly happy with his five-man core, so don't expect anyone to disappear permanently. "Angel has gotten stronger over the years because I've added to the ensemble. Andy and Jay brought a huge amount to the table. Then, of course, Amy--I can't say enough about her. With Amy, everything kind of fell into place, because there were the five of them. There were opportunities for interpersonal conflicts and attachments. Now, we have enough people to create a real dynamic. For some reason, you need five people for a triangle. I can't do the math, either."

Hope that may clear a few things up, and I'm off to check my old Maths books 😉

sounds good, at least no one's gonna die! and angelus coming back? don't like that much... but lets wait and see!

Connor/Steve/C. Diddy? ::rolf::
Nude? Yes!::evil2::
Big Bad Wesley? No!::disturb: ::mmm:: I like good Wesley better.
I haven't read that many Angel spoilers because I don't want to be spoiled on Angel too much, but I have one question. All I want to know is, how did Angel survive the entire summer underwater without any blood?

spike once said if vampires don't eat they turn into living skeletons.

Really? I never knew that. Then why doesn't Angel in his box go all skeleton-y?

When is the premiere?

I believe the answer to this question was answered in one of the previous threads, and I think the answer was that Spike once mentioned that Vampires can go forever without blood, just don't expect them to look like much when they get out. In other words, expect a severely emaciated Angel (I don't know how they'll pull that one off....)

Oh. god no! I won't be able to stand seeing Angel all skin and bones! How awful! How could they do such a thing?!

THis is making me want season 4 even more! I can't wait! I just wanna know what on earth Joss is gonna do with everyone getting nude... 😕

well 3 months in comparison with "forever" wouldn't lead to Angel being that severely emaciated. It's never been established how often Angel feeds, how many times have we seen him with a glass of blood in 3 years?

Maybe the starvation in a box underwater thing was written in as enticement for David to go on a between season diet? He has beefed up considerably since season 1 (looks completely different now in comparison, when you conside that as a vampire you are meant to stop the aging process!).

I'm not saying he isn't yummy as he is... I like a bit of meat on a man, but in tinsel town they tend to be a bit more figure/image concious.

LOL. That's a good point. Perhaps they do want him to go on a diet...

😀 LOL, now this sounds REALLY kewl! Joss is just an amazing person when it comes to shows huh? I can't wait to see who Angel hooks up with... has to be someone pretty special for him to risk loosing his soul! The only other person was Buffy right? *sides Darla-- cuz he didn't loose his soul then* Hmm.. maybe it'll be Gwen
Oh, and does neone know if they're going to be filming the Vegas eppy in Vegas??? Cuz that would be so so so kewl *my hometown* 😀

My bet is that it is Cordy. In fact can nearly garantee. Isn't it obvious?

Is Cordy really that stupid? I don't think that's how he'll lose his soul. Cordy's biggest fear is Angelus and I think we're not giving Cordy a whole lot of credit if we really believe she is stupid enough to sleep with Angel.
