How many of you guys have seen the Documentary - The Aristocrats?

The Aristocrats (also known as The Debonaires or The Sophisticates in some tellings) is an exceptionally transgressive dirty joke that has been told by numerous stand-up comedians since the vaudeville era. Steven Wright has likened it to a secret handshake among comedians, and it is seen as something of a game in which those who tell it try to top each other in terms of shock value. It is rarely told the same way twice, often improvised, and was the subject of a 2005 documentary film of the same name. It is thought of as a badge of honor among expert comedians and is notoriously hard to perform successfully. Throughout its long history, it has evolved from a clichéd staple of vaudevillian humor into a postmodern anti-joke.

I went to see that film at the cinema, it got a bit awkward at certain points..I couldn't stop laughing..But some people actually stood up and left! I really liked it though, I would recommend it to anyone who has a sense of humour.

Haha, yeah, I saw it too.

While I can understand why some people might find it offensive I gotta say I loved it, particularly the South Park version.

The joke, told properly, is hilarious.

I also love in the movie that at a Roast for Hugh Hefner JUST after 9/11, Gilbert Godfried made a joke that got him booed(something about a Plane from New York to LA making a stop over in Central Park or something) so he told this joke and WON the audience back.

BRILLIANT

Sense of humour aside a joke like this has no place on the board regardless of where it came from and the links are not appropriate content.

I completely abhor this type of moderation/censorship, but the short space within the reputation doesn't give me enough room to articulate my problem with this 'basicallly' aspect of fascism.
