I just found back in my "Buffy Book" (all the articles I ever found in magazines in one) a big poll to celebrate the end of Buffy and some results were really surprising to me!
I wondered what was your opinion about the results!

Spike is the funniest character in the show for me whilst i didn't really miss Tara. Season 6 is definately not the best season, the fact season 2 is so low on the list is really strange. The best episode list i don't agree with, "Chosen" isn't good enough to claim number 1. Can't really disagree much with the saddest episode poll though.

The only thing that really suprise me is the Best Season category.
Was this poll made right after the show has ended? In that case it make some more sense but it still suprise me quite a lot.

Perhaps also that Oz can make it to a Less favourite character list. Would never have guessed that.

WTF why is Tara on the least favorite character section?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Also, Not much of an Oz fan myself but he wasn't one of my least favorite!

Buffy and Riley? *throws up* mmm yeah nuff said

Willow and Kennedy? Nope. Willow and Tara. Kennedy was a sorry excuse to keep Willow going the lesbo path.

Glory should have been #1 favorite villain

Funniest character should have been Anya and then Spike

Best episode should have been either Hush or OMWF for the top spot

Best season? definitely NOT 6. probably any between 1-5

Saddest ep? The body. Hands down.

Faith deserves a spin-off more than anyone else in the show.

Last episode imo was horrible =/

Favorite character?

Ok, I can see it. I'm glad Faith made the cut. And Willow was pretty high. I'd only say Angel wouldn't have been on mine. Probably Anya or Tara in that place. On the whole, not a surprising category.

Least favorite character?

Riley and Dawn, no big shock there. But wtf is with Oz, Cordy, and Tara?? I can sort of understand Cordy... some people just don't like the bitch factor. But Oz? And Tara? I'm not Oz's biggest fan, but I still like him and I thought the general consensus on him was that he was a cool dude. And I know Tara isn't universally liked, but I never thought she'd make this cut. Very surprising. I'd put Kennedy on this list for sure... maybe to replace all three names! 😉

Best ship for Buffy?

Not terribly surprising, although I did think Spuffiers outnumbered Bangelers in most circles. I guess those are the only 3 cannon ships, really, unless you want to count Buffy/Wood. Of course, I think Fuffy needs to be there. Mine would be Spuffy, Fuffy, Bangel.

Other favorite ship?

WTF is Kennedy doing up there???? NOT ok. And very surprising. I thought most people hated Kennedy. I can see the other ones making the cut, though. But Kennedy? Grrrrr. Mine would be Tillow, Cander, Xanya, Willow/VampWillow, Spangel

Favorite villain?

Not at all my list, but not surprising either. All of those are pretty popular villains, although how many people would still consider Spike a villain? Mine would be Dark Willow, The Mayor, Glory, Faith (during her villainous hour)... although, I guess considering Faith as a villain is similar to considering Spike. Spike comment (mostly) withdrawn. Joss once said that the best villain is partly right. I guess he's alluding to Jasmine, but I disagree. I like to be able to hate my villains and feel good about it. Well, not hate them. They're interesting characters. But hate their evil deeds.

Which character did you miss the most?

Not very surprising. Good to see Tara at the top of the list. Jonathan is interesting, though. I'd have thought Oz would be there.

Funniest character?

Not at all surprising. I'd have put Anya first. I also would have liked to see Andrew on the list. I think he's hilarious. Storyteller cracks me up. "In my plan... we are beltless." 😀

Best episode?

No surprises here except maybe Chosen at the top of the list. I think generally speaking Once More With Feeling is the number one on most lists.

Best season?

No shock seeing s4 at the bottom... right where it should be. I like s6 the best, but I'm surprised it got the first spot. I thought it was generally pretty controversial with a lot of hate and love. I'd have put 3 above 7 and 2 above 1... maybe moved 7 down a few.

Saddest episode?

I'm surprised to see Chosen on here and especially in the number one spot. Mostly agree, though. I'm surprised The Body wasn't number one, though. I don't think it's the saddest, but I thought most fans thought so.

Which character deserved a spinoff the most?

I say Faith and then Spike. Willow's interesting, especially ranking above Faith. I'd have loved to have more Willow, but I don't know how I'd feel about a spinoff. It might have Kennedy in it. And Willow's such an integral part of the Scoobies. I can't really see her off on her own. A Wood spinoff might prove interesting.

How was the very last episode?

Pretty much what I expected, although there are some who think it's bad? Didn't see that one coming.

Overall, some very surprising points, and some not so much. I'm still upset about Willow/Kennedy being in the top ships. :/

Chosen must have been fresh in everybody's mind or something, because it's definitely not the best BtVS episode.

Yeah, again, S6-7 must have been fresh in people's minds to have those two seasons that high. And S2 that low? That's a travesty.

This list just made my jaw drop. What's wrong with Oz? And Cordy?! How is Season 2 so low? Why the hell would Briley be one of the best 'ships for Buffy?

I don't think I have a favorite, honestly. I loved them all for different reasons. Bangel because of the Romance, Spuffy because of the dinamic between them, and even Riley and Buffy because the relationship was so well done and executed.

Probably Xander and Anya.

Angel.

Which character did you miss the most?

Joyce. I started missing her as early as season 4 🙂 when she wasn't around as much. Even though I she frustrated the heck out of me quite often, I still liked the idea of Buffy having a mom...
