Wanna See Spike #7? (Spoilers)

Oh, I'm excited for this one. I haven't really been keeping up with the IDW stuff, but Brian Lynch says that they'll address the Scoobies' reaction to Spike's return in this issue.
 
See, I don't know if I want to read these comics. I've read summaries and people's comments, and this whole soul thing confuses me greatly. Did Spike receive his own soul at the end of S6? Since when can anyone have anyone else's soul? I think I'll remain in my safe haven where canon ends with NFA and Buffy and Angel creating a universe through unusual means never happened. 😀

Lol I think you'll be safe with these comics though. They're most likely not canon anyway. 😀 Although I'm with you on pretending some aspects of Season 8 never happened...

"After The Fall" and this 8 part miniseries are acknowledged by Joss to be canon, though, to the best of my knowledge, none of the rest of the IDW series or its spinoffs are.
Ok, this is ridiculous-- Spike is one of my (two) favorite characters and I still haven't read any of his comics!!!???!!! Must find time and do it. Thanks for posting this!

I'd agree with this statement for ATF (1-16). After that though they have ranged from atrocious to down right unreadable.

This 8 issue Spike arc has been terribly disappointing, IMO. The voices are non-existent and the whole thing has actually achieved nothing. It's been awful.

Have you read this issue? It doesn't stay interesting very long. It does, however, become very pointless. And the whole Dru side of it would be more compelling if she had sounded like Dru once this whole run.
