Anyone else watching this show? I just started but liking it a lot.

Jane Espenson and Drew Z. Greenberg are involved and Jewel Staite, Sean Maher (same episode) and Mark Sheppard (4 episodes) are actors from Whedonverse (Firefly).

I've read that people compare it to Indiana Jones and Relic Hunter and although I can see what they all have in common I don't agree. What they have in common is the search/hunt for "old" things. Some no ancient by a long shot in this show.

The series follows United States Secret Service Agents Myka Bering (Joanne Kelly) and Peter Lattimer (Eddie McClintock) when they are assigned to the government's secret Warehouse 13, which houses supernatural "artifacts". It is located in a barren landscape in South Dakota, and they initially regard the assignment as punishment. As they go about their assignments to retrieve missing Warehouse 13 artifacts and investigate reports of new ones, they come to understand the importance of what they are doing.

I think this is a great show and I'm really looking forward to the new season that's supposed to start soon. Which episode were Jewel Staite and Sean Maher in, I don't remember seeing them.

I thought the new season started the other day?

Jewel and Sean were in the superhero episode. 😉 Episode 2 season 2, Mild Mannered.

It reminds me more of the "Librarian" TV movies than anything else, though they, of course, are pretty obviously inspired by Indiana Jones, so...

I have just found this show and I love it. I started somewhere in s3 and have just bought and started s1 😀

Any way people start watching the show is a good way. 😀 How is it going with season 1? Must be a bit weird when you've seen some of the older episodes. Got any favourites?

All done with s1...getting s2 for my birthday 😀 and as soon as s3 is out i'll be buying that too 😀

Loved these episodes in particular...

The Pilot
Claudia
MacPherson

I just love the show and am totally addicted and will be watching the extras on the dvds soon 😀

OK so reviving this thread as I am watching s4 and have seen 2 actors from Psych and Amy Acker in the ep Tracey. Awesome sauce!! Love this show 🙂

I watched it when I got back from ComicCon in September. Liked it (especially Aaron Ashmore 😀), but there were 2 episodes left and I never really finished it. It's good, but I wouldn't buy the DVDs.

I really like this show. It feels very much like a spiritual successor to early BtVS, only without the romantic relationships drama (which is a plus for me because I am tired of shows becoming all about the romance). Claudia is basically Willow, Artie is a grumpier Giles and the way the entire group works really reminds me of the early Scoobies. The show isn't as good as BtVS but it's tons of fun, especially H.G. Wells is around. Too bad the proposed H.G spinoff seems extremely unlikely to ever happen.

Started to watch the show this summer. And quickly catched up.

I agree with Icarium.
They have great group dynamic. Like BtVS at its best. It's funny and without too much annoying romance drama.
Also mixes the fun stuff with some darker themes at times.

Overall a great show that I enjoy watching.

I can say that Buffy fans will likely find James Marsters' performance in this episode enjoyable. 🙂

That sucks. 🙁
Warehouse 13 might be my favourite show at the moment.

I have just started watching this, typical that it is ending lol.

I am enjoying it, but I dont like the cast. Its still early days, I think I am up to episode 6 or 7. I like Pete but he is about the only one I do like lol.

I found Myka really irritating in the first season but she's alright now. "Pe-ete! Pe-ete!"
