About the not voting thing. In the UK it used to be the case, where if you ticked every-one that stood for election, it was counted as a vote, but for none of them. Now I'm not allowed to vote, and that's ok cos they're all as bad as each other here.

Well, for the past several years, my vote has generally just been for whoever I saw as the lesser of two evils (or, alternatively, whoever I thought stood the best chance of getting the incumbent out.) I really wish we had a "none-of-the-above" option, with none of those candidates being allowed to run in that same election year again if NOTA got the majority of votes, but that ain't gonna happen. It would be of most benefit in the primaries - but that ain't gonna happen... The last two elections, it was a done deal that the PTB in the Republican party were NOT gonna have anybody but the Shrub (to make up for the American voters cheating his daddy out of the second term he was Entitled to :eviltongu - and yes, I heard that attitude expressed in very nearly so many words,) and this election, it was a done deal that the PTB in the Democratic party were NOT gonna have anybody but Barack or Hillary. Ain't a nickel's worth of difference, really, in their positions, and I don't much like either of them personally, although I think Hillary probably has a better handle on the job requirements. I just wish the choice was less about making publicity and more about getting someone suitable for the job. On the other hand, anybody who's suitable for the job probably has better sense than to run these days, and wouldn't take the job if you put a gun to their head. That's friggin' sad...

This whole thing about the way we have to dress/what we have to do as women, for this rulings not to occur is absolutely ridiculous, and its disgusting that judges and laws put there to protect us are having the complete opposite effect!! [Hence my wanting to be a criminal lawyer!]

You know that is true buffy addressed it in Go fish where the swimmer says "just look at the way she dresses" after she defends herself and i can't remember wheather it was snyder or the coach that said "he's right this is a school not a nightclub" or something along those lines

Women should be able to dress however the hell we like without these judgement how dare anyone say "she was asking for it" by the way some women dress it's discusting.

It's the saame with some rape victims they won't press charges because certain people will think oh she was leading him on stuff like that i don't care if you dress a way or you act away or hell even if you say yes and change your mind later NO MEANS NO! no matter of anything.

I won't say sorry for this rant as i feel very strongly about things like this i hope most if not all of you will understand where i'm coming from.
