OK the one thing i don't get is if Warren Died or not im asking this because how in the world did the 1st take his form.

im pretty sure that Amy saved him right before he died so im lost
 
I have thought about it too. In the big picture it's a storyglitch. The only way I can make it make sense is that when Warren's skin came of, the skin died, and the First can assume the form of everything that's dead, and be more places than once, as we saw in Conversations with Dead people...
 
Obviously he was clinically dead for like a second.

Either that or there's something Amy's not telling him...
 
Joss has said that Warren was technically dead for a very short time after Willow skinned him... much like Buffy was technically dead for a short time in "Prophecy Girl," but that was long enough for Kendra to be called as a new Slayer.

(So the First also could have impersonated Buffy even if she hadn't died for real in "The Gift").
 
But Warren says "Do you know she had maybe a four second window after my skin came off before I died of shock alone?"

To me, he makes it sound like he didn't die at all. Unless Amy's spell is just keeping something dead alive. Like Warren is dead, but he doesn't know it, because Amy's spell is strong.
 
Yeah, Joss mentioned that he forgot that Warren would have to be dead. So he was dead, but Amy's not telling him.
