Was a new Slayer called when Buffy died at the end of season 5?

I've think I've said this before(and probably been proven wrong) but my understanding was that it flatlined because dark willow was all electrified 😛 and lights were gfoing on and off. I assmed she disrupted elecricity, therefore wouldnt that explain the flatlining? It wasn't that buffy actually flatlined....at least that what I think
