Was Andrew in love?

Whether or not Andrew is gay, it seems that he was really following some guys around. Not physically, but I think he felt connected to them.

Was he in love with Warren? And Xander? And Spike?
 
I don't think he was in love with any of them. I think he admired them and was somewhat jealous of them.

Warren, Xander and Spike all had characteristics and roles that I think Andrew wish he had. Warren was the leader of the trio, Xander was a core member of the scoobies and Spike was a bad boy...I always got the impressing that Andrew sort of looked up to them because he wanted to be like them in some way.

I don't think Andrew was in love with any of them. I think he was infatuated with Warren, and wanted to emulate him because he looked up to him.
I think he had small crushes on Spike and Xander, but I definitely don't think he was in love with either of them. I think he had a bigger crush on Spike than Xander, but he connected more with Xander than with Spike.

I dont think he was, I think HisMrs is dead on with the word infatuated, or idolized them, but I dont Abdrew was anywhere near mature enough to love someone, not yet.
 
I'm pretty sure he had a serious crush on Warren, from the dialogue with Jon in the jail scene (and I wonder if Warren consciously exploited that to keep him in check/controlling him).

With Spike, it may have been bordering on that (they definitely had chemistry, and he certainly had some badass (anti-)hero worship going for him), but I don't think it was full-blown yet.

And with Xander? They clicked on the geek level, but I don't see any tension on a shipping level between them, at all.
 
What I write at first: I really liked the idea of Andrew&Dawn together.

I think Andrew had crushes on Warren, Spike and Xander. Maybe on Warren bigger, because he was more connected to him.

Oh, I'm pretty sure he did. Warren consciously exploit Andrew's feelings, that is.
 
Love is such a strong word. Andrew is young, confused, insecure and looking for someone to bond and connect with. Idolizing people that have what he lacks and willing to be used (being aware of it or not) just to belong somewhere.

I think he looked for acceptance from the once he admired rather than being in love with them. He just doesn't know how to express himself.

I have no doubt that Andrew had a very serious crush on Warren, not quite as serious a one on Xander. What he felt for Spike was, I think, more hero worship combined with a good dose of plain old intimidation and admiration. And I also think that, despite what eventually happened, he either had or was beginning to develop feelings for "the cutest little thing," Jonathan.
 
I think he wasn't in love with any of them because he never showed a single sign for me !!

But Buffy, Xander, and Willow were the same age as he and were in love with people. Buffy fell in love way earlier than the others. I don't really think it's fair to base whether or not someone's in love on their age.

That being said, I think he yearned for someone to love, but I don't think he was actually in love. I think he had incredibly strong feelings for Warren, and that Spike was someone he really admired, but I don't think he was really in love. If he were, Warren's death would have had more of an effect on him.
 
well I have to take bak my oppinion! Of course he was in Love with Warren. But the love was not returned. I'm not even sure if Warren knew something abot his feelings!
 
I don't believe that he was in love with any of them...unrequited "bromance" maybe. I think he was just an affectionate person and wanted someone to really befriend him. I feel like he just looked up to/ idolized the other guys in his life that seemed to be who he wanted to be so effortlessly.
 
I don't think he was in love with any of them, I think it was more he wanted to be loved, so he did everything Warren asked of him in the hopes Warren would appreciate him for it, he wanted the kind of love Anya and Xander had, which was why he mouthed along to Anya's parts in "Storyteller", and he played "bad cop" (badly!) when out with Spike, in order to try get some acceptance and respect from him.
