Even if she wasn't doing it to close the seal and trick Andrew, I don't think she was being hypocritical.
Willow, Anya and Spike all had extenuating circumstances to their actions (Willow was grieving and high on magic, Spike was a vampire and Anya was a vengeance demon). In the case of Willow, it's not an excuse for her actions but it at least explains them.
Some will debate that Andrew was under the influence of the First but truth is he was always willing to back stab Jonathan. And furthermore, he doesn't take any responsibility for what he did. To an extent, at least all other characters did. Anya in Selfless, Spike joined the fight for good, and Willow, although never admitted her wrong directly, decided to go the England and seek some help. Andrew never took any steps to bettering himself, at least not prior to Storyteller.
