Did Buffy Love Spike?

Did Buffy Love Spike? I honestly believe she had loved him for a while. Since season 6 I like to believe, but definetely since season 7. I really think she loved him. What do u think?
 
Yes I think she did but like slayerangel said she used him horribly.
 
Yea, you know u did something horrible to get Spike to cry, LoL. But I love SPuffy soo much.
 
I'm with ya on that one! I don't understand how she COULDN'T love him...I think she'd be nuts not to...but I REALLY don't think it's just love for a friend...
 
She was probably flattered that he was so in love with her and he was the only one there when she was hurting the most and she turned to him, but used him. I don't think she should have treated him that way. He does a lot of things for her in S5 and she told him to stay away and had her friends turn on him, then he got a soul for her and she sent him mixed signals. Buffy can sometimes be to self-righteous.
 
ofcourse this is NO, its been proven way to many times, James Marsters said it, SMG said it etc...Spike basically said in Chosen.

Buffy and Spike used each other, it wouldnt be fair to say that just Buffy used him. Spike tried to push her into it sometimes and got what he wanted, like in the bronze when they were doing the naughty, she didnt want to then and he kept talking her into it.

In S7 I think Buffy just found comfort in him since well she couldnt exactly do that with Xander.

Buffy never had her friends turn on Spike, they did that all by themselves seeing as though they never exactly liked Spike and they didnt like Spike having lovey feelings for Buffy espically since he built the Buffy Bot and was going through Buffys clothes smelling them...

Buffy loves angel deeply nad passionately and their love is a once in a lifetime kind of love.About spike,she definately loved spike like a friend,she felt alone and he was the only person who understood her,she wasn't in love with him-SMG

Do you think Buffy really loved Spike?No, I think she used him mercilessly. I think she felt dead inside and needed to feel something to make her feel alive. Spike was there and wanted her, and they had great sex. She knew he was in love with her, but I think the real love of her life was Angel. To Spike's credit, he realized that.-JM
 
I agree that she was using him at one point but I don't think that was the case at all in season 7. I don't even see proof of that the last season...hey, you Bangle shippers don't have to be all defensive because we all know that in the end the writers will put Angel with Buffy (even though he was just about to profess his love to coma girl but hey...I guess everyone can be a bit fickle from time to time...) Just give us Spuffy shippers the fact that Buffy does love him wether she ends up with him or not...more than a friend but maybe not like a man she would spend the rest of her life with...but she did love him...she even said so to Angel...Saying someone is in your heart usually means you love them...and the actors...just sharing their views on it...doesn't make our views wrong...
 
I know she didnt use him in S7, have no problem admitting that. I think that a small part of Buffy did love Spike but in the end she will love him like a friend or brother 🙂 its like Spike is in her heart like Xander is in her heart.

I dont even know if B/A will end up togther in the end because ofcourse Joss will most likely write the episode and I dont see Joss giving us a ending where they run off together and get married. Angel may just turn human and walk off into the sunset by himself saying "Im going to find my girl yada yada yada" Or just die...

And yes you are right that the actors views dont make the fans wrong, since if you believe in Spuffy love good for you, you deserve it and have your right to your statements.

And plus their are people out there who think that Anya is probably Giles one true love or OG Giles and Buffy are each others true love. ick...

1)Sorry,it just...i can't stand the spuffy-thing.About the spuffy-shippers,well they probably think that the bangels are crazy and really belive in buffy+spike=love ,i don't, but i respect them bacause those are their opinions,i have mines(buffy+angel=eternal love)
2)She did,i'm not syaing she didn't,i'm just saying that she wasn't in love with him,she used him
 
Ok, THAT's just getting into some SICK stuff...but you're right...and good for them...*shudders*

But I still have to disagree with how she loves him...I don't think friend and DEFINATELY not brother...gross...but maybe how you love a guy and for what ever reasons you don't work out but are still in thier lives and hearts kind of way...I can't explain it but I know I have had it...and it's just not really like friendship alone...I don't know...I know how I see it and I will just ignore the rest...these battles never go anywhere anyway right? There is something we can all agree on! YAY US! LOL!

i know she loved spike but someway i know that she is still in love with angel. i think it's wrong when people say that buffy loved spike like friend,a friend is xander and she didn't feel the same about him,i don't know what she felt/feel about spike,the only thing i know for sure is that buffy's true love is angel and they are gonna end up together...now you're thinking'no!,buffy's true love is spike',hehe it's ok,we can think,imagine and wish..but the last word belongs to joss...
 
I think there's a really strong possibility that she loved him til the end but there were a lot of complications!

First of all, he tried to rape her! Some might say that was when she stopped loving him but i think otherwise!

That might not always make you hate someone. (and i mean pure hatred! It's a very powerful feeling!)

Fear and love are strange things and there was a reason that she kept him alive in the last season! I don't think it was because she needed an extra pair of fists because he was dangerous when the first was playing with his mind! She should have killed him to keep the potentials safe but she didn't cos she loved him too much!

(I'm glad she didn't cos i love him too) 😀
