Ive talked to alot of people who didnt agree with the idea of the location change because they said it changed the direction of the show. I was wondering what were thoughts on this? Had the offer never been given could AI have made another season in the hotel & if so what would be the focus of that season?
Was it a good idea to send Angel Investigations to W&H ?

I liked the change. I think had the show stayed with that direction it would've felt stale. That being said, that doesn't mean I liked some of the things they did with that direction, like oh say, the major lack of Cordelia, being just one of the problems, albeit a big one.

Well, technically, Angel Investigations didn't move to Wolfram & Hart, it shut down so that Angel and his crew could take over the evil law firm. Angel and the others, I believe, missed the entire point that the Senior Partners actually accomplished what they had been working for all along. They eliminated their biggest single enemy. It took Cordy having to almost literally beat Angel over the head with that fact before it finally sunk in, and I seriously wonder if Joss had planned to string the deception out for at least the end of Season 5 and on into Season 6 before bringing them to that realization. The last six or seven episodes seemed to me to be kind of rushed, attempting to reach a workable ending at Season's end due to the unexpected cancellation. At least it seemed to me that that's what happened.

I agree completely. That's exactly how it seemed. I kind of hated that they joined W&H. There were things about it that I liked, I mean they can't always make the right decision. It would have kind of unrealistic if Angel had said, "I know exactly what you're doing...and I won't fall for it!"
