Was it wrong or right?

I don't know, I was getting impressions of fear, contlict, and severe burn-out from Wes, rather than thwarted ego (although we all have our egos to deal with). I do think the Fred/Gunn thing may have made him feel more isolated from the rest of the group.

I don't think the AI group thought Wesley had actively helped Holtz take connor to the hell dimension, but Connor would have been much harder to get at if Wes hadn't taken him from the hotel.

In any case, I thought it was uncalled for how Wesley suddenly became persona non grata for *all* of AI after Angel attacked him, when before there was a lot of concern, even after piecing together was he'd done. So sheep-like.
 
I dont get it. They always have to do what Angel does.
Angel is all moody and upset about something, so they can't do what he doesn't want them to :: directo
and they forget about being nice. I think they should turn on him and let him know what it feels like.
 
i think one of the problems is that fredd/gunn don't have enough confidence when dealing with angel(for all gunns brovado)and cordelia the one who in the past might have set him staight is all gooey eyed
 
I agree. Angel is certainly the strongest of them all in terms of character as well as physical power. That's why I suggested being... discreet about talking to Wesley.

But since that didn't seem to occur to anyone... Fred is the one that wants to reconcile with Wes the most, but she's also the woman that hid in her room for 3 months, so I guess you can't expect too much proactivity from her. Cordy could stand up to Angel, but when Fred approached her, she was explicit: "Angel has to come first". Gunn... I don't know... Maybe he has mixed feelings about Wesley so he finds easier to "go with the flow" (take Angel's side on a de facto basis).
 
After all this first happened, I could have sworn that Wes was gonna be back with AI by the end of season 3, and that Cordy was gonna set Angel straight, but she surprised me. I understand that she needed to be gentle with Angel, because he had just lost his son, but when she basically said nothing about Wesley, I started to yell at the TV. They all act as though everything is normal, but, I'll say it again, the family part's gone. Sure, they'd probably protect eachother till the end, but everyone can tell that something is missing. They get their jobs done incredibly slowly now, and Wes was the only one I can see sitting behind that desk, looking at books for hours on end. he was the only amazingly intelligent one for a long time (no offense to the others), then Fred came along, who's the only one even close to beingg as brilliant as he was, and she's probably not even half as smart as he is with the books. So if Cordy would have brought this to the attention of everyone, they might think about trying to start forgiving.
 
fred can't say anything to him as she's the one who told him never to come back.very cold coming from the woman who had recently crushed his heart.
 
I think he just did what he thought was right,he took Connor because Angel would´ve never forgive him if he find out that he knew that and he could´ve save Connor,besides that what friends do help each other,he was triying to help,but nobody cares what happened to him,they just think about Angel like if no one exist but him and his problems

I love Angel but what they made to Wes really piss me off
 
I don't think Fred was so much telling Wesley to never come back as warning him to stay away from Angel and the hotel (which Angel owned) because Angel would kill him (more than likely).

The problem is, she gave him this warning in the middle of a rant (uncalled for, IMO), which could have easily made it sound like a rejection, or at least ambiguous.

All things considered, I think the ball was in the AI group's court, and they just let it sit there instead of going to Wesley on their own while/if Angel cooled off. (Fred wanted to, still wants to, but she's naturally timid and passive, and probably feeling guilty about the rant.)
