Or was it just in LA? I assumed that when she appeared on TV, and had visitors World Wide, that she was the new "Jesus Christ" of the time, making World Peace.

But this was never felt in Sunnydale... at all, or did I miss something?

And as far as I know, when something major happens, there's somewhat a cross-over.

I don't think it reached every place in the world. She was live on TV, but barely a few minutes before Angel broke the spell. And it's not like that broadcast was being shown in every freaking country in the world, lol.

As for Sunnydale... This was happening at the same time as people were escaping the city, and The First was getting ready to attack Buffy and co. I don't think her broadcast was viewed there.

Also, as far as I can remember they didn't wanna have any big crossover by that point. So you can just attribute it all to the producers not wanting the stories to be intertwined at all.

Oh. But didn't ghost Lilah say that it was good that they killed Jasmine since Jasmine made World Peace?

Also, even if it did reach Sunnydale, Angel turned her back into maggot-face within a couple of minutes. So, if anything, there would have been a minute or two of world peace (for the people watching the broadcast) followed by a return to normalcy. If they had done a crossover, I don't think it would've been more than a passing mention, maybe a joke or something.
