Yeah this is why, they ruled out cross network episodes. The wrote it in to the script in "Shells" I think it was when Wesley or Angel (cant remember) called Giles for help with the Illyria infection that was plaguing Fred, Giles refused because of Team Angels partnership with Wolfram & Hart.

I'm not sure why the network would factor into this. BTVS was over, and the Kuzui's owned the rights I thought. Andrew was in ATS season 5's Damage.

I do agree that I wish some sort of arrangement could've been worked out. I understand that maybe SMG didn't want to do it, but it was the end of the Buffyverse as we knew it at that time, it was a very big deal, she had worked with DB for 3 years on BTVS.
