Was the show supposted to air in 2004?

I seen ep. 2 and on the calender it said september 2004? So I was guessing the show was supposted to air in 2004 and they pushed it up to 2003?

In yesterdays episode (Nov. 6) when she went to meet the firefighter there was a calender that said 2004.
 
I think it was supposed to air in August/September but they pushed it back.

They probably just did that without regard for continuity of time. Because the pilot took place in May I believe, so they aren't trying to make it the same time as they're showing it.
 
The calendar was for charity (I think he said Widows and Orphans Fund), with beefcake pictures of firemen. Such things are usually prepared well in advance, and I wouldn't be surprised to learn that the 2004 version recently became available and some of his buddies tacked it to the wall with his picture showing just to annoy him.
 
I highly doubt a DVD will come out that quickly or that they would plan for that. It would be more important for the show to be current when it is on air rather than on DVD.

The date on the newspaper in the pilot was at the end of May 2003, and Tru had just graduated then too. The calender must be up early- thought May is awful early for the next year's calender to have come out so that Nick would believe Tru's statment that she had that calender and that's why she asked for him.

Do you need a trail of breadcrumbs to read that sentence?
