Was this a deleted scene? 5x01: Buffy vs. Dracula

Does anybody remember this scene from Buffy vs. Dracula? It was when Joyce invited Dracula into the house for coffee and they had a conversation it was how Dracula got into Buffy's room to bite her?

I remember seeing it once when the episode aired on The WB

I remember Joyce mentioning that she had invited him in, but I haven't seen that ep in a while so can't remember if there was a scene showing it or not.

That's what made it to the DVDs, the scene when Joyce explains that she invited him in. No scene showing it.

So it is truly a deleted scene that was aired on the WB when the episode was first aired?

I don't know why the DVDs don't have deleted scenes in their bonus offerings. *pouts*
