Near the end of "To Shanshu In LA", Wesley says

"The beast of Amalfi, a razor toothed six-eyed harbinger of death. No, wait, that's due to arise in 2003 in Reseda."

Was this foreshadowing the incident in "Birthday" in the AU

I don't think so. First of all, Birthday aired on January 14, 2002. Yes, the demon in her vision was in Reseda, but it doesn't sound like the same one. I can't see it very well on screencaps, but here is how she describes it:

Cordy: "Does nobody care that there is a girl in Reseda that is about to be fed to a no-eyed, three-mouthed monster?
