Okay guys....When Season Four premiered...was it Buffy first and then Angel? Me and my brother and friend are getting ready to start Season Four and we wanna watch Angel in sync with Buff.

I have another question....the other day I watched Buffy Season Six and Angel Season Three back to back...and nothing lined up correctly. Buffy left to meet Angel and it didn't match up. So did Angel and Buffy premiere the same time during these seasons? Or what is up? I am slightly confused. Thanks

If you check the little booklet that came with the DVDs, it should have original air dates. Maybe that will help clear things up.

As I remember it from the time, Buffy started at 8pm on Thursday UK followed by Angel at 9pm(incidently followed by Scrubs) . This worked perfectly well for the 4/5 seasons and 1/2 seasons, but when Buffy changed station, the timings were off by about a week, maybe 2(though i'm sure it's only one), not sure if that was because episode 1&2 of season 6 was a two parter

I think you need to watch 2 episodes of Buffy then start Angel and work on from there.

Hmmm, I'm unsure, mostly 'cause I wasn't old enough to watch Buffy and Angel when they aired 😛 On IMDB they have the airing dates, that'll say, and then you can work it out, I would buttt...I'm to lazy 😛

The seasons that seem the most non-synched are Buffy7/Angel 4. Buffy took the chronological lead by like two weeks at the beginning, is that right? And then it seems like Angel caught up, beat Buffy to the season finish by two weeks or so. So, for example, if you wanna have Faith leave LA, then immediately show up in Sunnydale, you gotta check the air dates carefully.

Edit:

Buffy 7

Angel 4

That's weird! Then how could TGiQ have happened? Not to mention Andrew's coming to collect Dana.....
Yeah Buffy season 6 and Angel season 3 is when the seasons began to not line up because they were on different networks from then on. They explain this a little more in the DVD extras.
But in Australia they tried to match it all up, so we would go for 3 weeks with no Buffy and only Angel on etc.
But I believe in the States Buffy aired (on the WB) at 7or 8pm, and Angel right after. Until Buffy moved to UPN.

If you go to the Wikipedia page for any Buffy or Angel Episode, at the bottom there is a list of what happened in the Buffyverse around that time in chronolgical order. It is really helpful for seeing where the episodes fit together, as it lists episode titles and numbers, plus if you read any of the comics etc. it tells you where they fit. I would advise using that to plan what to watch.
