Watching Buffy & Angel In Order.. Help!

Ok a little confused. I watched through season 5 of buffy and season 2 of angel.

But now what do i do? I can't remember if the premier for season 6 buffy was 2 hours together...wasn't it? And i read somewhere that i should start 2 episodes of angel first, THEN watch buffy... instead of buffy, then angel as in the past seasons.

Is that the right order? I also hear the order of buffy 7 and angel 4 are messed up because of them being on diff networks and the networks didn't even air cross-over episodes right (season 4 was when i started to drift off of Angel, so i can't remember).

So, how do i watch Buffy 6/Angel 3? Do i indeed start with Angel? like i read? im confuzzled.

Do you have the DVDs? Check the "original air date" on each episode. And, yes, Bargaining parts 1 & 2 were aired back-to-back.

yeah ihave the box sets. i hear though, that if you go by airdates for Buffy 7 and Angel 4, that crossovers were messed up because of the different networks not really putting much effort into airing them right. is that true?

Season 3 of Angel begins with Angel mourning Buffy's death. He then goes to meet her after the fourth episode of his series. I would suggest watch the 1st episode of Season 3 for Angel then the Buffy resurrection episodes. You should be able to go from there.

Air dates are not what she is asking for, what she needs is a timeline of the events of the show.

For instance, the episode that Willow leaves for LA should be followed by Orpheous.

In season 6 of Buffy, which episode does Buffy go to meet Angel? That should be watched just before the episode that has Angel go meet Buffy.

This can then be traced back to when you should watch the shows and in what order.

You know, I've been wondering for some time if there IS an actual timeline that someone put together. Seems like there'd be one somewhere, how can Buffy-and-Angel Fandom have gone on this long without? I usually just watch the episodes all the way through and then put them in the proper order in my head.....but an actual, written out timeline would be awesome. Does anyone know if one exists and where?

I've been looking too for one. So far i just looked up air dates of Angel 3 and Buffy 6, and decided to go by that so i watched 2 episodes of Angel, now im going to watch the 2 part of the Buffy premier, and then go back to one and one alternating.

As for when i get to the next seasons, well THATS confusing cuz like i said before, aparently the airdates do not actually follow the time line.

i had to look up Angel airdates tho because i realized the booklet in the box set doesn't have them like the Buffy one does. What gives? thats kind of stupid.
