I just finished S01E01 and thought it was pretty good, im excited to watch the rest of it. It was a happy surprise seeing Amy Acker in the episode, I love her. Well I just thought I would share this lol

Awesome! I love Dollhouse! It isn't near as good as Buffy/Angel but then again, I hold those two shows on a pedestal 🙂
But it is good nonetheless! I think the second season is better than the first, so enjoy!

Awesome, and is it finished or on going? With out spoilers of course 😀

Well it is finished, it only ran two seasons 🙁 From what I have read, it was on a bad channel and bad time slot, so it got the death sentence. However after it was done airing, people starting showing an interest in it!

If you are asking finished in terms of the story, yeah it wraps up, about as much as a deeply intelligent show can wrap up in only two seasons 🙂

I'm only through the first season, but so far I've really enjoyed it. It's probably my least favorite of Joss' shows, which means it's still awesome, but it's a neat premise that I don't think many people were willing to give a real chance, sad to say.

There are some great long term storylines that are really interesting and Eliza Dushku is delivers a tremendous performance. She really dominates the show, but she's awesome in it. Also, the guy who plays Topher (I can't remember the actor's name) from Cabin in the Woods is hilarious. I really liked him.

They take the series in some pretty wild directions, and while they don't always find the mark, it's a pretty cool ride.

Topher is played by Fran Kranz.
Yeah time slots and stuff can be life and death for a show, like The Community. No one watches it on tv because of shows like Glee or Greys Anatomy but always watch it online. Thanks, it kills me to get invested in shows and not have an ending... Dead Zone 🙁

just finished season one and maybe it makes me weird but I dont like Ballard much. Im just not seeing the story along the lines of hero saving girl lol. I like Boyd as a hero figure more.

ok just finished season 2, im not positive how I feel. I suppose I dont wanna spoil anything for others who read this if they do though

Yeah, I remember feeling a little hot and cold about it too, but ultimately I enjoyed it!
There were quite a few shocks and twists in season 2

oh yeah 🙁
That was one of those moments that made my jaw drop too. That silly Joss sure likes to mess with his viewers minds/hearts/emotions/sanity!!

it killed me :(
Dollhouse is great. You might find S.1 a bit slow as each episode is different, as in, shes this person and then this one and then this one all with different situations (i know thats what the shows mainly about!) but keep going cause the overall arc does grow well. S.2 is so much better in my opinion! 😀

iShower4free, we did our rewatch in the discussion subforum fairly recently (a couple of months ago)- so feel free to comment on specific episodes. We'd love to get your input! I adore Dollhouse and the rewatch was my second time through. I felt such an emotional connection to the characters, in a way more than the other Whedon shows. Also, Joss continued Dollhouse in Dark Horse comics. We've discussed the comics in the discussion subforum as well. You can get them at a local comic book story or on Dark Horse online.

I'm currently watching Dollhouse for the first time and am up to episode 6. Really loving it so far. I must say that the pilot has been the weakest episode to date and did a fairly poor job at explaining what the dollhouse is/does. I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens- it's a great concept.
