I was just wondering which were the episodes/scenes that make you cry everytime you watch them? I never used to be emotional and certainly not about tv shows or movies but there are Buffy and Angel eps where I empathise so much with the chars that I cry every single time I watch them!

I'll list mine chronologically:

The prom: when Buffy gets awarded as class protector. (awww, such a nice gesture!)

Wild at Heart: when Willow finds Oz and Veruca (someone hit her! With a shovel!!!)

Into the woods: when Buffy runs after Riley and is too late

The gift: duh, but mostly the final second of the episode where Buffy's fiends look down upon her body.

Tabula Rasa: when Michelle Branch sings 'Goodbye to you' (does anyone know where I can get that version of the song btw? I have the original, but I like the one if Buffy slightly better)

Hells bells: When Anya walks through the aisle alone.

Grave: The yellow crayon speech but mostly when Willow changes back and cries.

Selfless: When Anya walks away alone at the end of the ep.

Empty Places: when Willow and Buffy visit Xander at the hospital and when Buffy gets 'voted' out of leadership.

as for Angel, I haven't watched them as often as buffy episodes, but a few eps that come to mind are: I will remember you, Lullaby, Sleep tight and a Hole in the World

that list was longer then I expected... I'm such a crybaby!

The only time I remember crying is during "The Prom" when Buffy and Willow are talking, and Buffy starts crying and saying she can't breathe, and Will comforts her. That always gets to me, every time!

there are three BTVS eps that reduce me to tears every time i watch them...The Body, The Gift, and Chosen. i get teary eyed watching other eps, like Becoming, and Seeing Red, but those four eps turn me into quivering wrecks every time i watch.
i am a very emotional person anyway, and i get so tied up in these storyline and these characters that it makes everything real.

The only episode that has ever gotten me teary eyed is The Gift. The speech that Buffy gives Dawn is beautiful. Too bad her speeches in season 7 weren't as good. Even Willow used to get bored. :drunk:

M
Maddy
yep! same exact episode/moment for me.
The Gift
I've seen the episode several times without crying, so when I watched it on DVD with my brother, I didn't expect to start bawling like a little baby. He didn't cry, but fine by me if he's dead inside.

The Body, especially the scenes where Buffy finds her mom on the couch and Anya rants about death.

I Will Remember You gets me everytime, just when I think "Oh I'm not going to cry this time", then Buffy says 'I'll never forget, I'll never forget, I'll never forget' ::crying2: Other ones.. Innocence, when Buffy says 'I'll just let it burn' ::crying2: Becoming... hmm.. The Body, Grave.. Chosen.. The Gift just makes me cranky not sad, heh.

A Whole in the World of course makes me cry, and Power Play for some reason I have a happy cry when they all put their hands up, very touching.

OH! me too! Power Play ALWAYS makes me teary...and then i cry buckets at NFA. 🙁

Becoming definately *sniffles*

The Prom...I always get choked up when they give her the award.

The Gift....She saved the world a lot :crying2:

The Body...Anya's spiel, Xander puting a whole through the wall, Willow with her constant changing

I Will Remember You...She will remember! She will! :crying2:

Not Fade Away....Wesley...NOOOOO!!!!

I'm sure I've shed tears plenty of other times but these are the ones that I remember at the moment.
