We could be Heroes

I haven't seen Grey's Anatomy, but Desperate Housewives is mind numbingly bad. Heroes I watched the first half of the first episode. One can guess why I didn't watch the second half.


AND I've loved Buffy since the first time she smacked me down for acting like a dick(the first of many 🙂 ). I do so love a woman with power.

Well thats not a fair test of a show.
I know that the first half of 'Welcome to the Hellmouth' would have made me turn off. Luckily I stared season 3.

Yeah, she IS loveable, no?
 
i finally got around to watching Heroes, and i gotta say, i loved it.
i really thought i was gonna hate it, because of all the hype it got. rarely does a show live up to expectations. but i thought the first two eps were really good, a nice way to introduce all of the characters.
i don't have a favorite as of yet, but i really, REALLY wanted to hate the cheerleader, just on principle. but i ended up liking her a lot. i felt very sorry for her, in a few scenes.

I liked Claire too, but that could be because i'm 24 and she spent the show in a Cheerleaders outfit.
OK, I admit it, I may have had a little perv but her legs are amazing and the character is interesting.

Hiro is my fave so far though....and I like Niki.
 
I love Nikki 🙂 Love DL too but you wont have seen him yet. Im currently on episode 16 (I think) and it just gets better and better 🙂
 
I didn't like it at first, I just thought it was way too confusing and didn't really grab me like other shows have.

I sat and watched episode 1 and 2 repeats last night though and it's growing on me, I'm still not completely impressed I've seen better frankly but I probably will carry on watching it in the same way I continued watching Charmed every week!
 
I watch this show in anticipation. I keep thinking that SOMETHING profound is going to come of the various scattered storylines. But it hasn't happened as of yet, at least not for me. I thought the sub-arc of last fall was something of a letdown.

To summarize my feelings, I don't love it, I don't hate it, I still just don't GET it. Clearly though, there are viewers out there who do. But I have to wonder - can the premise of this show continue over multiple seasons, say as long as Buffy's did?
 
At first I didn't think I'd like heroes, but the show grew on me pretty quickly. Greating writing mixed with superb acting. I didn't think a show like this could continue long without it becoming pretty repetitive but the show always suprises me.
