This is awesome, Jillian Morgese tweeted me back on the BB account!

She plays Hero in Much Ado About Nothing, Fran Kranz's characters, Claudio, love interest.
She's awesome in the film, and it was her first role.

I can only imagine that the people in this cast will be like the cast of Firefly, that we'll be seeing them in other Whedon projects going forward.
