Welcome to the WE <3 BB Competition

To celebrate 10 years of Buffy Boards we have decided to launch a competition to honour this massive achievement and we want you to show us how much you love BB!

So, what is this competition all about?
Basically we want everyone to show us there love for Buffy Boards. We want you to use your talents to show us exactly what Buffy Boards means to you and why you love it. This could be done in a number of ways, for example:
  • Art e.g. banners/icons/wallpaper
  • Poems
  • Fanfic
  • Videos
  • Sketches
  • or anything else you think represents BB and why you love it
It really can be anything at all as long as it adheres to the rules.

Who can enter?
Anyone. Please be aware that you must be sorted into a dorm to receive the prize on offer. Mods may also enter as long as they omit themselves from the voting process.

A few key rules:
  1. Keep it family friendly < anything deemed inappropriate will not be accepted
  2. Banners must be 500x150px
  3. Wallpapers no smaller than 1024x768px
  4. Must have a small description of why it shows you love BB

How to enter
You can PM me your enteries by 10 pm GMT, Friday 24th February Maximum of 2 enteries per person. Enteries made past the deadline won't be accepted.

Voting
Voting will take place anonymously by the moderators and winners will be announced on Wednesday 29th February. Moderators will vote for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places based on what they think represents Buffy Boards the best.

The Prize
First place will receive: 150 dorm points
Second place will receive: 100 dorm points
and
Third place will receive: 50 dorm points

That's so cool! BB-still alive 😀. Even after 10 years! But do you present all the things they sent you via pm? Because it's very interesting to see what others did!

I already started working on mine. Somehow it came to me quickly, and good thing too because there's no much time for me personally.
 
I don't know how to narrow my ideas down to two entries... If we write, is there a limit as to how long the entries can be?
 
I thought about using a permanent marker to write "I love BB"(and film it while I did it) on my forhead. But then I came to my sense. I don't think I'd do that with any marker, even if I washed it off right away. I'm not sure if I love BB enough to scrub my face for hours until it's gone. Maybe if someone said BB would close down if I didn't, but otherwise, no.

So I'll think of something else.

If you want to write something I'd say keep it below 1000 words so that it's easily readable in a short period of time 🙂
 
Hey everyone there's little more than a week left to submit your entries! Don't forget this is the perfect opportunity to not only show BB your love but also to win some points for your dorms to start off on a good foot with the house cup. So far we've only had one entry so send you entries in 🙂
 
Hmm, can't believe I missed this!! I will try to work on something this weekend even though I have a hundred and one things to do :O. Yey for a competition with videos... They are ones I can actually enter 🙂
 
Ok, so I had a horrible day - after 7 hours of writing on a exam that's due tomorrow I realised that I had misinterpered one whole question and had to start all over again. I was seriously about to cry. So I put down my computer for a while and made my entry. It's really lame and super cheesy (I think I should get points for creativity though, mihihihi), but I had SO much fun making it and totally forgot about my troubles for a while! Made my day! Thanks BB! :heart:

Oh, I can't wait to see everyone's entries!
Thank you to everyone that's sent entries in so far they are all great and very original 😀 I've really enjoyed seeing all your entries. Just a quick reminder as well that the deadline is Friday Night at 10pm GMT so get your entries in soon to avoid disappointment and earn your dorms some points!!
 
If I didn't have current chipmunk face syndrome (aka oral surgery) then I would absolutely participate. However I'm very sleepy, swollen, and doped up so making vids and writing poems are sorta outta my comfort zone.
