Whoa, long time no post!

I haven't listened to it, but I can say that I wouldn't be in a rush to go listen to it. I don't like any of there previous songs. I find their music way to depressing!

I'm not a Radiohead fan but I recognise that they are a good band...just not my cup of tea🙂 I'd be interested to know if anyone downloaded the latest album when it was available for whatever price you thought fit and what you actually paid for it...

Hey, bro. That's quite a common perception of Radiohead. Its funny though, I actually find much of their music quite uplifting. Its just not in the regular sense. You have to discard all that you feel and your memory of what music should be, to discover where Radiohead are trying to take you. Only when you are mentally naked wlll Radioheads music warm you.

That's actually an interesting question. Personally I bought my copy from a shop. Also I'm on your wavelength about appreciating their talent but it not being your taste. I'm the same with bands like Queen and Fleetwood Mac, I appreciate their talent, but its just not my thing.

I actually quite like Radiohead.
I bought the album online but paid full price for it.

I have no problem paying full price for an album if it is worth it.
eg Spice Girls Greatest Hits i'd only pay 50p and I'd expect at least the lease to a new house in Central London as the free gift!

I was a little let down with one song, Faust Arp, it just didn't do it for me but generally the rest I liked especially 'Videotape' for some reason.

I was forbidden to buy it by my older brother because 'he wants to buy it' and apparently the fact that he no longer lives in the same house as me does not change the fact that we're not allowed to own any of the same things. It's cool though I bought Doctor Who before he did so despite the fact that he LOVES that show he refuses to buy it on principle. You men and your craziness.

I've heard it, it's brilliant. Definitely their warmest album, it's really rather sweet in places. Thought it was kind of funny to hear Radiohead going all tender on us. The only song that really conforms to the idea people have of Radiohead is Videotape, and if that song doesn't move you, you're dead inside.

People just have an idea of Radiohead as a bunch of gloomy students sucking all the joy out of everything they touch, and I can't help thinking that idea is almost entirely based on Karma Police. I'm not saying they're all tra-la-la meadow frolicking disco music, but they've got an enormous variety of stuff under their belts.

I also think that it's a rather horrible irony that two bands who have essentially caricatured two different flavours of Radiohead's sound, Muse and Coldplay, are more popular with these damn kids today than Radiohead themselves are. I don't think Thom and the guys are lying awake at night about it though.

In other related Radiohead coolness, a dude called Amplive remixed 7 tracks from In Rainbows and made them available from his website. He was slapped with a Cease and Desist order, until the band themselves stepped in and gave him the go-ahead.

I downloaded it from Demonoid, when it was still up.
Basically, I was entirely disappointed, I was expecting it to be brilliant, but it just wasn't.
I honestly don't think they've released a decent record since Kid A.
