Weakest Buffy Season

I'm gonna go with Season 4. Altho like everyone is saying, it did have its moments [Hush, Restless. Intro of Tara]. After that, i'd say season 2. Wasnt really a favourite. And Season 7, while it was good, I didn't like the introduction of a gazillion potentials. It took important time away from central characters, from their last season!

About Season 4, am i the only one who thought "Pangs" was a hilarious episode?

No you are not the only one. "Pangs" is my all-time favorite episode. It is hilarious like you said. So many great lines while arguing in Giles apartment. Spike is fantastic in this episode.

I dont understand why people are calling Season 1 weak because "It only has twelve episodes". Did most of you overlook the fact that Season 1 was a mid-season replacement? Which, if you dont know, means there will usually only be around 12 episodes for that season? And also, most of the seasons had at least half of the season as stand-alones. Some that come to mind are 2, 3, 4, and 6. So how do you justify an answer with "because it only has 12 episodes and half of them were stand-alones"?
 
I think season 5 was. season 4 had some funny episodes, and all in all not bad to watch, but season 5 was pretty dull, but so was season 6 too, i think its a toss up between the two.
 
Season Four was lame and Season Six, boring. The only good things about those seasons are Faith eps and Evil Willow.

The Trio was a joke and Riley was a really bad joke.
 
The Trio was AWESOME. They were both comic relief AND they did do some damage. Every episode I found myself looking forward to their scenes.

I didnt mind the trio, i just couldnt stand Warren. I found him so annoying. I loved Andrew tho.
 
I hated Warren too but I thought he was necessary to the plot, and I loved seeing him tortured by Willow. 🙂
 
I liked Warren. Out of the trio I'm positive I liked him the most. The trio were brilliant in season 6. I thought their characters were necessary as the "villains" in that particular season, very apt.

It was good for once to just have a regular guy be that evil. Ok evil isnt the right word but you know what I mean.

Its fair enough to show vampires, demons etc being evil but to show a human being evil in a show like Buffy is unusual.
 
The problem with season one was it was short(only 12 episodes),most of them were stand alone episodes not an arc continuity. I didn't like season four because I thought the idea of the government hunting demons was just... well lame. Plus, Riley just wasn't that interesting.
