The Deadites are Kandarian Demons summoned from the beyond that animate the recently deceased and can infect others, allowing the Demons to possess more bodies. So the "zombie" depends what kind of Kandarian is in posession of the body, some are small and weak, others huge and nearly impossible to kill, some mutate (Blinky, the Soul Eater) and some fly etc
So some need a bigger gun to get rid of, or rocket launcher Buffy-style. Some you'd need to throw a block of C-4 down its massive throat.
