34C today and only *just* warm enough to run the air con. Probably could have lived without it, but I also have the oven on.

34C? thought you were talking about a bra at first lol
Dull and overcast but we are sitting at 4°C/39°F as of 8:00 AM and it is going up to 10°C/50°F later today.

No fog! The fog has gone!

It feels warmer too.

Patchy cloud at the moment that looks to be getting denser. Not a bad day for the time of year, though.

We had our white Christmas, now we have rain and temperatures that will stay just above freezing until Wednesday night.

It is raining. Rather a lot. It might still be better weather than other parts of the country, though.

It is quite a lot colder today; there was a frost this morning.

Actually, there still is a frost.

Just under the freezing point today and there have been snow flurries but they are melting on the roads. These flurries didn't happen in the east side of Toronto, where my day started but only went as far east as Bayview Avenue in Toronto. Everything west of that had snow.

Of interest though is that today is the day of latest sunrise, just like December 8 was the day of earliest sunset. From now on, we have continued lengthening of the day at both ends.

We just had two brutally hot days in a row. Felt far hotter than the last heatwave warning day and we didn't get a heatwave warning for this one! Got to 42C / 107f both days but it felt the hottest around 36-39. The air sucked all the moisture from my body. I could barely stand a few minutes on the patio before my face was hurting too much to stay outside. Today is MUCH better. So far its about 28C but cloudy, so a massive relief. I have all the windows open.

Let's do some averaging!
It is rather chilly. Yesterday's frost never cleared up out of the sun and it has now been joined by some friends.

Just about cold enough to wear my 'new' (as in secondhand army surplus 😀 ) padded overalls today. They're British army cold weather technical gear , made by a high end British workwear company . Paid 20 quid from a architechtural salvage lockup last month...worth about 80-100 . Wanted a set of thermal waterproof overalls for many years . This was one very lucky deal . I'm very toasty 😛 .
