Coldest night of winter for me . -6 forecast but it'll probably bottom out lower here . Been snuggled up in my coldweather overalls today, chopped extra firewood etc. The rustic lifestyle doesn't feel too charming right now . Temperature is expected to rise in a few days and I'll be looking forward to ignoring the woodburner for a couple of nights .

We have a dry cold!

Sunny, clear and subzero temperatures. Okay, maybe not vastly subzero, but it is still below freezing.
 
Another cold night but clear skies, making it colder... should warm up by next week though.

They are saying tonight may be the coldest yet. And after the day was so warm! Or was that warmth in my imagination?
The fire's been going a couple of hours so I just emerged from my cold weather overalls like a butterfly breaking out of a chrysalis 😀 . Still looks like a cutprice winter wonderland at mine , an unconvincing covering of snow that just won't shift .

Nearly done with this cold snap though . Need to sweep the chimney flue tomorrow but I should only need it running for one more night anyway. Then I get a few nights off to get some sleep . The only downside of running a woodburner is you sleep funny hours in the coldest part of winter . Up all night tending the fire , then snooze through most of the short day .
 
Still cold, it's -4c this morning according to my phone, actual temp is probably lower.
 
It is still cold. At least it does not seem to be as cold here as -4, but it is still below freezing.
 
Around 33C but dropping when the clouds come past. The afternoons have been hot until well after dark. The morning was nice until 9ish though.
 
It was warmer today! All the frost that has hung around since some time last week finally melted away!

Warmer does not mean warm, and I am definitely cold.

It has been quite cool of late, well, my shirt is covered in sweat so when I stand in front of the air-conditioner my shirt gets cool.

How many countries can purify sea water to be drinkable water? And constantly the sea level rises, check the islands in the Pacific and Florida USA.
