I didn't realise that Vera Wang made Buffy's wedding dress in The Prom and Sarah's own wedding dress.

Vera Wang does make amazing dresses, even if your average 18 year old high schooler can't afford one 🙂

I read somewhere that Sarah fell in love with Vera Wang's work after wearing that dress in "The Prom". I don't blame her; it was a gorgeous dress!

Completely agree - I absolutely LOVE the dress that Buffy dreams about in The Prom. Everything about it. I'm not really a fan of beachy-hippy weddings though so obviously I'm not sold on Sarah's wedding dress and thongs look.

I'm personally in love with this Vera Wang wedding dress - http://weddingdressesverawang.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/Wedding-Dresses-Vera-Wang1.jpg
Pockets! Yet so elegant. Gimme!

And Vera Wang dresses are reasonably priced in my opinion. You can pick dresses up on Ebay for 2k. I know women that spend 10 times that on their dress!

I'm really not a dressy kind of girl at all, but that's really cool! I thought that it was just a crazy, random happenstance at first, but it does make sense that Sarah fell in love with the artist after wearing the first dress. 🙂

I had read that it was a Vera Wang dress, but I didn't know that SMG's own dress was VW. I love her dresses!

Just a correction though- it was Angel that dreamed of the wedding, not Buffy.

I just watched the Dollhouse episode "Vows" and I really want to know who did the wedding dress Eliza wore in that ep.

I Googled and apparently a lot of people want to know that... I couldn't find the answer. :(
I wasnt that impressed with the wedding dress in the Prom. Its not the type of dress that I like but Sarah's own dress looks lovely.

The mystery has been solved! I'm listening to Joss' commentary on "Vows" and he says that costume designer Shawna Trpcic (costume designer for the entire series) designed the wedding dress worn by her imprinted personality in that episode.
