i cant figure an organized way to do this, so i'll just ramble randomly like i often do.
first of all...awwwwww!!!!!! i felt so bad for willow when xander treated her that way and it made her sad. i know he was a hyena, but it was so painful for her, and usually when willow cries, i cry! yeah, im lame. moving on...well, thats one of the main things i liked about this episode. there were a bunch i liked and a bunch i didnt, so im in the middle with this episode. lets see, here on BB i believe someone mentioned the dodgeball scene being bad; it was ok to me. i mean, it was a little weirdly over-dramatic, but it did say something about the bullies and xander and where they stood. and more sad for willow when xander hit her with the dodgeball. and eating flutie...well, it was certainly a violent way to go. i guess it was kind of a positive thing for me because snyder was my favorite principal, and he showed up after flutie; i didnt like flutie as much. oh, and this is one of my favourite parts! :
GILES: Xander's taken to teasing the less fortunate?
BUFFY: Uh-huh.
GILES: And, there's been a noticeable change in both clothing and demeanor?
BUFFY: Yes.
GILES: And, well, otherwise all his spare time is spent lounging about with imbeciles.
BUFFY: It's bad, isn't it.
GILES: It's devastating. He's turned into a sixteen-year-old boy. Course, you'll have to kill him.
!
oh, and this i loved! when xander is talking to willow from inside the cage, and you think she actually might get closer and listen to him (even though part of you sort of knows she wont) and she doesnt! oh, i was so proud of her! she is smarter than to fall for that!
here, lets hear what you guys think before i go any further. do you disagree with me? do you agree? what are your opinions on the stuff i never mentioned? come on people, lets discuss! :woot:
