Weirdest Food Combinations

I got inspired by the Ultimate Snack List thread... What is the weirdest food combination you've ever had that actually tastes good? We've all heard weird ones like pickes and ice cream, french fries dipped in milkshake, etc. What's your favorite "weird" food combo?

I personally LOVE Rice Krispies cereal over the top of vanilla ice cream. It gives the ice cream a nice little crunch; it's so yummy!

I used to love Coke with a shot or two of coffee. I haven't had it in years, but I loved it.

I love french fries in milkshakes! The weirdest ones people think that I love are peanut butter and pickle sandwiches (MUST be on wheat!) and cheese quesadillas with peanut butter smeared on top. Yes, I am obsessed with peanut butter.

Personally, I love potato chips crushed up and mixed in with chili, like crackers, though, to me, that doesn't seem in the least bit unusual.

Something that I remember from a recent episode of "Castle" would apply here as a weird food combination. Castle was fixing breakfast, scrambled eggs mixed with chocolate and marshmallows served on a graham cracker. "Sm-omlettes."

Balsamic Vinegar + anything lmao I put vinegar on/in everything. My favorite being Pizza in vinegar I say in because I drown it lmao.

Or if theres like nothing in the house to eat I'll pour vinegar and parmesean cheese in a bowl and eat that. It makes a sorta paste and its really yummy. If you love vinegar lmao.

When I was like 7 or 8 I would put peanut butter in a bowl and pour sugar on it lol then Id get yelled at for putting peanut butter in a bowl cause it was hard to wash out lmao. Or I'd take a lemon and put sugar in a bowl and dip the lemon in the sugar and just eat that. I was a sugar fiend.

Canned pears with hot chocolate mix stirred in. If you mash up the pears a bit, too, it tastes really good. Its appearance, however, is another story...

That Rice Krispies and ice-cream thing actually sounds really good. I'll have to try that.

One of my old favourites is chocolate and cheese. Ridiculously bad for you, but as a kid I used to love surreptitiously slipping some broken up chocolate into the middle of a cheese toastie! Or even worse, on chips.

Another thing I "accidentally" discovered is a crisp and tomato ketchup sandwich. Cheese and onion crisps, on some white bread with a generous helping of ketchup. Midnight snack of shame.

I honestly think I may have been pregnant all my life. That's my excuse, anyway.

I am (or rather was) a connoisseur of weird food combinations. 😀😀

This can be considered more disgusting than weird, but back in my late teens/early twenties after having some brewskis and a little bit of the halfling's leaf 🙂p😛) on a Friday or Saturday night, my roomies and I would partake of a delicious concoction of pizza with fried eggs and hot sauce on it. Mmmmm....lip smacking-ocity. 😛

Oh, and sometimes in the mornings after a night out, I'd mix up raw pancake batter and use it as a dip for nacho cheese Doritos.

Of course, now that I am older and more civilized, the thought of eating that stuff turns my stomach.

There was also an old specialized dessert I invented when I was fifteen, which I have retro-dubbed the "Diabetic Shocker".
It consists of layers of ice cream, chocolate cake, marshmallow fluff, and chocolate pudding in a tall glass, topped with a strawberry. Eat sparingly, and at your own risk.

Oh, and throw in some combined ice cream and cherry jello onto my list of gastric abominations.

Also, I created what back then was the perfect beverage; a concoction I dubbed "Brand Ecchs", which combines coconut milk, malta (a Spanish soda made from hops) , and Bosco!

Yeah, I was a weird kid. 😛😛😛

Chocolate chip cookies dipped in buffalo sauce from Chicken Express. Actually VERY yummy!!!!
Ranch and chocolate cake. Was not that good! lol

Don't ever ever ever try scrambled eggs with whipped cream. Even if it looks totally delicious with a white fluffy layer on some scrumptious golden scrambled eggs. Seriously. You'll take one big bite, and then vomit all over your grandfather's shirt.


I love eating chocolate with something crunchy and salty. So I like Royce's product of potato chips covered in chocolate.

When I was young, like seven or eight, I used to take the butter from the airplane and eat it from the packet by itself. I stopped, because someone told me it was rude, but I still get the temptation every now and then.

Dill pickle popcorn flavoring on Doritos! I went through a dill pickle flavoring-loving phase for a while and I still love it on popcorn, but some friends and I discovered the Dorito thing one night and it was quite delicious.

I dunno if I have any other really weird combinations, although chips and ice cream are pretty good together. Oh, are peanut butter and banana sandwiches odd? 'Cause they've been my favorite since I was a kid and I wouldn't know, haha.

I love fries and ice cream too. 😀 Salty and sweet really go together! I've also put crisps on grilled cheese before - worked really well! 😀

When I was younger, I used to do this thing... I put peanut butter, honey, maple syrup, and chocolate syrup together on a plate in a bowl and mixed them together. It was DELICIOUS! And not long ago, I found out that if you put honey-nut cheerios in a bowl of melted dipping chocolate, it tastes awesome.

My brother used to dip his french fries in his milkshake at McDonald's. Never tried it myself.

I'm not very adventurous with food. But when I was a kid, I had a friend who ate peanut butter and banana sandwiches with potato chips and Nestles Quik chocolate milk mix on them.

His mother actually made these for him.
