This is meant in general and not about Jen. Ok?
Members can be loved, members can be hated and they can be everything in between. But why can't people see that not everyone thinks the same? If a certain member leaves some might be very sad, some sad, some happy and some might not care at all. If it's someone you love/like that leaves and someone is happy about it or just state that it seemed like the right thing to do of course you won't like it. But you should be aware that not everyone might feel like you. Most bullies and jerks (in your eyes) often have friends too.

Not sure what you want to say with that comment Silum since the only thing I said about Jen was that the post wasn't about her. But maybe you just wanted to say that she was well loved. Which she definitely was. But that don't mean everyone loved her or that she neved did things that some people didn't like. People can see things differently or even different things after all. Something some people seem to miss completely. It's just "I think this way and that's the only way things can be seen." What you see often depends on where you stand...

I want to say that she is well loved....and she went out swinging. 🙂
Everyone has their views, their opinions...based on your first post, some are loved, some are hated. Spoons...had very few enemys. I'm agreeing with your point, I dare say she was hated. The fact that she has many thousands of visitor messages (more than any other indicator of friendship and openness surely?) shows the influence she had on this board and the many people who she knew. She WILL be missed.

Well, I, for one, never ever heard or saw anything mean/bad come out of Jen till this past weekend. I am sure she might have a couple people who don't like her (as we all do) but I love her very much and will miss her a LOT.
Me, myself? I have chosen to stay on the boards. For NOW. If anything like this EVER happens again, I'll be gone faster than you can blink. I thought about it a lot and decided that I came to these boards because of my love for the Buffyverse, and not for anything else. So everything else is being thrown out. From here on out, I'm going to be here to do what I came for: to talk and discuss Buffy and Angel episodes and the cast members. I had said before I was no longer going to post any of my artwork here, but I changed my mind about that, too. I'm just no longer going to post in the "off-topic" forums 'cause that's not why I love this place so much. So.... I'm staying, but I'm setting some new rules for myself.
Everything else that happened before is going to be left in the past from now on. Clean slate.

Well, let's not fall back into that not-so-peaceful place the other thread had been. I personally love Jen, but she's chosen to leave. No reason to get back into this stuff that has been more or less resolved at this point.
