Welcome my new dog - BUFFY!

Hey guys, I got a new dog this week (another rescue so she's 1 years and 3 months old) and as if it wasn't already official that me and my sister are crazy Buffy fans we decided to name our new dog Buffy (Buff, Buff-Buff, Buffster and Miss B she also listens to 😉)

So say hi to the canine Slayer



(so far she only slays stuffed animals but we'll have her working on vampires in no time!) 😉

That's amazing! What an adorable dog 🙂 If I ever got a dog (which won't be for a long while) I'm so going to name her Buffy. Or even if the dog is male, I'll still name him Buffy 😛

This might sound a bit corny, but, to hell with it, I'm gonna say it anyhow.

On behalf of the thousands of dogs that are abandoned every year, the vast majority of whom wind up being euthanized (that's murdered, to us more simple folk) I would like to do what they can't do for themselves, and that is, sincerely thank you for your generosity and love. I've been adopting dogs for the last ten years or more, and I urge anyone who is in need of a pet to do the same. Every time an animal is adopted, a life is saved, plus much needed expense money goes to the organizations sponsoring the adoptions.

Oh, what an adorable doggie!! And such a cute/funny name. 🙂 And I agree with [MENTION=6758]white avenger[/MENTION]- kudos for adopting! As some of you know, our [rescue] dog died before Christmas. When we're ready for another (probably this summer), I will go with a shelter or rescue dog. Besides, I have kids, I don't have time to train a damn puppy! 😉

Thanks guys, 😀 I'm in love with her and I whole-heartedly agree with the adoption of dogs/pets to save them from being put down. This is my third rescue and though some of them have required some work it's not more work than a puppy and they really are such wonderful dogs, it just kills me that I can't take on more because I want to give them all a chance.

Little Buffy is a hoot and a half, she is so young yet that she is still at that adorable puppy-age when everything is fun from chasing leaves to getting the mail. I think she will make a great addition to our little family 🙂

I love the coloring too. In certain angles she looks almost wolf-like which I think is cool. No idea if there's GSD in her, it's hard to tell 🙂 Suffice to say she's a mutt found on the streets of Russia 😉

Fanja is over-joyed because now she has someone to play with that's as intense as her. We just need to watch them so that they don't get too excited... Zak is a bit more laid back. Since he's five he's not that into playing and he gets a little grumpy when Buffy runs around him too much. But they like sleeping together and eating together so we think it is going to work out in the end once they have gotten to know each other. Thanks for asking.
