YEs, all hail The Cheeseman! And alas, I haven't slowed down. Here's the next scene:
As soon as the bell for lunch rings, Dorian Sykes stashes his bottle of rum in the bushes by the tennis court and lights up his cigarette. He hasn't felt more alive before in his life, the high from last night still hasn't gotten out of his system completely. What was that the old man gave him? Better than acid, probably better than PCP, he imagines. Dorian is one of those stereotypical rebel burnouts, brown hair that goes down to his ears, facial hair just growing on his chin, jeans, black "Misfits" t-shirt, leather jacket, the works. But now he is a step above all the other stoners, he can feel the power surging through his body, he can do anything. And it's all thanks to the two beautiful girls who stand across from him, both identical, both with dark hair and even darker lipstick. Although, they are both short, they are also very fit and Dorian likes that a lot. Are they good enough for a commitment? Nope, neither of them, but they are good enough for a fun time. But they did provide him with a quick fix. He looks over at Elaina and Eliza with a smirk. "So are we on for this after noon? I need to get me some more of what your old friend gave me."
"Of course," Eliza rubs up to him, while massaging his chest. "Mr. Winston says that you are going to be playing a big role in our little clan and to be honest, we need a sexy beast like you around."
Elaina comes up from behind and rubs her hands on his shoulders, he thinks these are the kinkiest twins he had ever met. "Yeah, it would be good to have you with us, officially."
"Yeah, but Winston says I need to be initiated into the clan, you guys got a free ticket because of your abilities." Dorian answers worried about what this may consist of, but he does want to be part of this group, he wants to be what Mr. Winston is.
"Mr. Winston really likes you, Sykes." Eliza begins. "it shouldn't be that hard to join up. Especially with the little gift that he rewarded us with last night."
"Yes, it is quite exquisite, when I touch it feels like my body is on fire." The twins continue to massage the boy, he has a wide smile on his face.
"I can't wait to feel it." He is getting more and more aroused by these two girls.
"Sorry baby, but it won't work with you."
"Your not part of the line." The two twins break off of Dorian.
"What is this line you two always talk about?" He is very confused about their lineage "Is that where your super strength comes from?"
"Sort of." Eliza says.
"You get to see what we use it for this after noon." Elaina adds. "But for now, we have to go."
"See you soon sweetie." Eliza says as the two girls walk off leaving him wanting more of them and more of what he had last night.
"Yeah, see you at the next class." He waves to them, still feeling the buzz. He waits until he is done with his smoke and then walks back towards the quad feeling the vibration of the booze and last night. Although only sixteen, he knows that there is more to this world than what he sees. He believes in love and evil and higher beings, especially after the stuff he took last night. But he has always had a wild imagination and has wanted adventure, that is probably why he started experimenting at an early age. But still he feels like that little kid who dreamed of being a Power Ranger years ago, even though he has gone to deeper and darker adventures. But there is a part of him that doesn't like this new place he has gone to over the last couple of years, a part that is more aware of evil. But most of him feels like at least he is a part of the cosmic struggle, wether it be on the side of good or naughty evil, he just likes being involved in this adventure.
His thoughts are stopped as he, no looking or thinking, runs into something or to be more correct someone. He looks down to the girl he just ran into and then suddenly the lights in his head go on. She is perhaps the cutest girl he has ever seen. Her red hair blows with the wind as she smiles at Dorian, he smiles back, he knows he can make her melt if he really wanted to. "Sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going."
"No, it was my fault, I've been bumping into a lot of people today. First day jitters and all." Luckily this time she wasn't carrying anything.
"Your new here?" Of course she's new, he thinks to himself, he's never seen her before. But then again, he's never been showing up at class for the last couple of months.
"Yeah, just began today. Kind of weird not knowing any one." She is surprised how fast she has gotten herself into a conversation with this boy.
"I'm Dorian, now you know someone." He thinks to himself that he is slick, the confidence has been building for the last couple of hours. "And you are?"
"Vi, nice to meet you Dorian." She begins to walk towards to quad as he follows her, he can't let her get away, he needs to get to know her.
"Vi, that's a very interesting name. How do you spell that?" She's already got hooked and he hasn't been talking to her for a minute.
"Just a V and an I, very simple actually." She isn't too sure about this kid just yet, but he does have that bad boy look going for him. They walk through the quad and Vi catches a glimpse of her Watcher, Xander talking to another teacher on one of the benches. They give each other a glance, then she goes on her way.
Sure he's already charming her, he decides he wants to continue the conversation. "So what class do you have next?"
"Wood shop, not really my choice, but I needed an elective." They make their into the hallways of the school, she has an unsure look on her face while Dorian has a grin.
"Cool, that's my next class." He follows Vi to her locker.
"Really?" She can smell the rum on his breath, but is getting more and more interested in him. He is being a whole lot more persistent than some guys she knows.
"Yeah," He confirms for her. " Well, seeing that we have the same class next and that you don't know anybody quite yet, why don't you spend your lunch break with me?"
"That sounds nice." It does sound nice to her, but that stench is really getting to her. "Have you been drinking?"
"Yeah," he hopes she isn't one of those squeaky clean girls, but then he thinks that even if she is, he can deal with it. "I got a bottle stashed by the tennis courts, you want to go have a few swigs?"
"I think I'll pass for now." Although she isn't against drinking, Faith used to let her drink on occasions when Buffy was around, in fact she encouraged her to drink, she knows that school isn't the place for it.
She pulls her backpack from her locker, but Dorian gently reaches for it. "Let me get that for you."
She thinks that that is very sweet of him to do, again, he's putting a lot of effort into her right now. She likes that a lot. "Thanks!"
"Not a problem." He knows he has her pretty much under his thumb, just one more thing he needs to know. "Allow me to cut to the chase and ask you one quick question."
"What is it?" The more she talks to him, the more Andrew leaves her mind, which isn't such a bad thing. But still, Andrew is sweet, and that never leaves her.
"Are you seeing anyone right now?" He asks while toting her fairly heavy bag.
"Uh"¦" She really doesn't know the answer to that because there is something there with Andrew, at least she thinks. But this guy is putting a lot more effort within the first five minutes of meeting her than Andrew has since the night they had that wonderful talk. "No, not at this moment."
"Well, that's a good thing for me then." She's never had a guy be so up front with her before.
"Well, I guess it is." She didn't mean to lead him on with that, but she doesn't regret it. She thinks for a moment. "I think we tapped the "˜Wells'."
It takes a few moments for the burnout to get the joke, but then he laughs. "Where are you from, anyway?"
She doesn't know what to tell him, Sunnydale? Chicago? She knows that she probably shouldn't give him "˜real' information just yet, she's not really here to be a student in the first place. " Canada, I'm sort of a foreign exchange student, I live with a few other people who took me in."
He thinks for a minute about this, luckily he doesn't know canadians from Irish people othe foreign exchange student program works. "Really? How is it up there in Canada?"
"Boring, very boring." Even though the last year hasn't been boring what so ever.
"Well, Cleveland isn't exactly the hometown of excitement."
"Yeah, well, anything is better than being chased by eyeless freaks." She didn't mean to let that slip. He looks at her confused. "I worked with disgruntled blind people."
Dorian laughs a little at this. "Sounds like fun."
