Welcome To Cleveland Part 1

I love it!!! I love it!!! More more more please!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lol and did I metion...I love it!

I thought Ethan had something to do with it! About time he came back, even if only in fanfic. Keep up the good work.

Sorry about "even if only in fanfic" in my last post, Hostile 17. That sounds horribly patronising. I didn't mean it that way. Especially as I always say that a good story is still a good story, no matter where it appears.

There have been some excellent sci-fi and horror short stories in some of the "gentlemen's" magazines for example. And that's all we read those for, isn't it boys?🙂

nah, no offence was taken. Even though it is a fan fic, I do consider it still a form of art or whatever, but again I didn't find what you said patronising.

oh wow! really great update! i should have sceen that coming! Vi is my favorite Slayer! i hope she kicks their asses! continue! continue!

Thanks for the kind words guys.

"Ethan Raine planned this all on his own?" Willow asks sitting on the couch cuddling next to Kennedy in the living the room. Xander stands in front of the television telling the others the revelation that happened earlier at school, Vi sits on the other side of the couch while Andrew stands in the kitchen making dinner. "I never knew him to anything so"¦.." She looks up at Xander. " What's the word I'm looking for."

"Ruthlessly smart." He states staring at the others very grave about their fate as a slayer unit. " Yeah, after years of getting his ass kicked by Buffy, looks like he finally found an evil plan that so far looks to be working very well for him. Him and his slayers."

Kennedy looks around at everyone. "So, this Ethan guy, he's responsible for Willow losing her wiccan skills?"

Willow looks even more worried now, not to mention she's fighting a killer head ache that is making her lose sense of reality. She is trying to hold herself from making a scene but the the scenery is spinning in front of her and just a few minutes ago she looked up at Kennedy and saw Tara instead. Is she losing her mind? She ignores it for a couple of minutes. " Is Ethan really that powerful now?"

Xander scratches his head. "I really don't think so."

Vi finally adds into the converastion trying to avoid Andrew, she feels kind of guilty. "He said that he was protected by a power, the same power that is steal your magic, Willow."

Then something clicks in Xander's head. "Yeah, we asked him "˜how' and he told us to reverse the "˜how' a little bit. What do you get when you reverse the word how?"

Andrew chimes in from the kitchen. "W-o-h? That makes no sense, what's a w-o-h?"

Kennedy throws a pillow at him, it hits him, her slayer powers give her a good throwing arm. "Idiot, if you mix it up even more, you get who."

"So, there is another player involved in this?" Willow asks still trying to fight the illusions.

"Looks like it." Xander begins. " And someone very powerful from the looks of it. But the question now is who?"

Andrew chimes in again. "Maybe it's a god of some sort protecting him?"

Xander points to him in approval. " That is a very strong possibility, he might have been able to cut a deal or something. But another good question is what does this fourth player get for protecting Ethan? There has to be some sort of catch."

Vi looks at everyone, except Andrew, then speculates. "Well, Ethan is doing it to just cause confusion and chaos for us, that's obvious. Eliza and Elaina, the slayer twins, they are getting off on the power. So this could be a god of power or chaos or something like that."

"A god of chaos is the most obvious choice there, but I hate to think that we are going up against a God without Buffy." Willow states.

"I don't need Buffy." Xander pauses realizing that he let a lot more on then he realized, but that's what it really comes down to. He wants to prove that he can be a good watcher without his good friend Buffy or Giles. "WE DON'T NEED BUFFY."

"That's bull, Xander." Kennedy begins while showing her tongue ring a little bit. "You need to call Giles or Buffy or someone, they have the scythe and probably have a god on their side."

Xander looks puzzled, not at Kennedy saying this, but that Kennedy is the one saying they have no hope. "Excuse me." He gives her a one eyed glare. "This is coming from Kennedy, the slayer who can handle anything. Is the almighty Kennedy saying we have no hope of defeating Ethan and chaotic cronies? After all the months of arrogance and talking herself up as the greatest slayer that ever lived, has she given up her pride and backs down from a challenge in her job?"

She looks very offended. "How dare you say that, I've played along with your little watcher games for the last few days and you tell me that I'm being a coward."

"Yes Kennedy, you are." Xander nods. " You lose the scythe and suddenly you can't do your job. Am I right?"

Willow fighting head aches tries to calm them down. "Xander, don't"¦."

"Sorry Will, but she has been relying too much on the weapon she carries and who her girlfriend is to make her a great slayer."

Kennedy springs up from her seat and stands face to face with Xander. "You *******!"

"Maybe I am, Kennedy, maybe I am." He stands tall next to the prideful slayer. " But I've seen Buffy and Faith for that matter face worse then Ethan Raine without that scythe or without having someone powerful on their side. I believe you could do the same, just please get over yourself now. You've proven that you can talk the talk. Now you have to walk the walk, can you be a vampire slayer without the weapons or powerful allies?"

Kennedy sits back down, not answering her watcher, she knows that he has got a point and she can now see it clearly. Willow puts her arm around Kennedy's waist and strokes her hair. Andrew begins to say something from inside the kitchen. " You know what we need? A vampire, like Spike or Angel."

Xander looks at him with an stupid look on his face. " How many vampires do you know that have a soul or a chip in their brain to where they would be willing to help out?"

Vi chimes in a sarcastic voice on accident. " Plus, they are our enemy." She looks back at Andrew who seems very hurt by that comment, now she feels like crap.

Willow even though fighting the illusions and pain tries changing the subject to something more positive. "So how was school today?"

"Xander met a girl, she looked older and very interested in him." Vi has a wide smile now.

Willow, Kennedy and Andrew give a curious look to Xander. "We just had lunch, Joe is a very nice person."
"Her names Joe?" Willow asks.

Xander, who is ashamed to admit that he met someone else so fast, tries to change the subject himself. " I wouldn't be talking Vi, the person who spent most the day swooning over a bad boy in a leather jacket."

"Ow" Andrew apparently hit his head when Xander said that, apparently very upset with that news, he hates competition. Vi turns bright red then runs into the bathroom to avoid the tension from her peers and Andrew. Kennedy, Xander, and Willow, despite themselves, burst into laughter, just feeling trying to get their mind off more serious matters.

"This is your wake up call." The doors to the crypt open up and sun begins to burn all vampires sleeping inside. The vampires, who are all wearing cowboy hats and boots, look towards the doorway to see the two gothic slayers who have become their biggest fear over the last couple of weeks. Eliza and Elaina stand in the door way, Elaina has the Scythe in hand, they both glare at their prey. "Time to turn to dust."

"This will teach your leader not to sucker punch us next time." Eliza yells as her and her sister charge in and begin staking the vamps who aren't scorched by the sunlight.

As the girls tear apart their prey, Ethan stands in the doorway looking on at the massacre his slayers are doing. " Isn't it beautiful, I never knew being a watcher could be this much fun." He walks into the crypt with glee and is followed by a young figure, who is walking in a daze. He looks back at the boy behind him. "How's that spell working for you? Is the high better than yesterdays?"

Dorian looks at his mentor with wide pupils and a smile that shines of an unreal pleasure. "Oh yeah, this is the greatest thing ever. I've never felt more alive with power."

Ethan has a smirk on his face. "When we get back to the mansion, I'll show you how to perform your own spells. In fact, our whole project depends on you getting the knowledge of these spells down. Are you willing to be a powerful sorcerer of chaos like myself?"

He looks at him, Ethan notices that his pupils have just turned a dark red, this pleases the false watcher. "You bet Mr. Winston, I'm psyched, mentally and physically actually. I love this buzz, man. You are my idol."

About an hour goes by in the crypt, long after the girls leave with their mentor and their boy toy. A secret passage opens from the ground in the crypt. A tall, hunking bulk of vampire climbs out of the hole and immediatley has a look of remorse on his face. This man has a cowboy hat on his head, a faded pair of jeans, and a black t-shirt. He scratches his beard as he looks at the dust that once was his posse, anger erupts in the demon inside him. He knows who did this, it was those two slayer girls who have been hunting him and his posse down for the last feweeks. With a frown on his face, he screams in anger and begins throwing stuff all around the crypt. "Damn, you varmint twin slayers." Lyle Gorch at that moment vows to respect his posse by bringing the girls heads back to the crypt on a spike. " A slayer dusted my brother, then she dusted my fiancee, now you two walk into my town and dust my posse. There's no way Lyle Gorch is going to let you get away with that."

Alright, here's some more, hope you guys enjoy:
Willow watches Vi scope the crowd from the balcony at the local all ages club, The Nexus. It is at this moment that Willow realizes how calm and concentrated the girl is. For Kennedy, her talent is the fighting and dusting, but Vi is very good at the non-physical parts of this job on the most part discernment and observation. They've only been there five minutes and she spotted the first vamp at the club, a young looking man with a brown mullet and big wire framed glasses. For the last three minutes, Vi has been watching his every move, watching every drink, glancing the people he is glancing. It's like she is trying to think how the vamp thinks, something most slayers and demon fighters never dared to do. Vi's eyes stops as the vamp stops to talk to an obviously fickle fifteen-year old. "Looks like he found someone, should I move yet?"

"Not yet." Willow informs her. "But I'm not your watcher, just a fill in."

"Guess Xander thought he would cover more ground if he elected you honorary watcher for the night, huh?"

Well, me and even more unofficially, Andrew." She points to the bar where Andrew has been sitting with a very upset look on his face. He's trying to play off the whole pissed off rebel hero look with his flashy Matrix jacket. From Willow's perspective, he's been in a very sad mood since the meeting earlier in the afternoon. Willow turns back to Vi remembering what Xander told them earlier. "So you met a boy on your first day?"

Vi turns red again, but doesn't run off, in fact, her eyes are still on the vamp. " Not really like I met him on purpose, he more or less followed me. But he's sweet, although he seems to be friends with those twins, I don't think he's up to no good though."

Willow smiles a little bit. "Of course, he's up to no good, or else you wouldn't like him. But not evil no good, just bad boy no good, right?"

"I think so, I don't know him that well though. But like I said, he does seem to have a relationship with the twins. Not sure I can trust him." Vi isn't sure she wants to trust him, she doesn't even know him.

"Distrust was always a theme in most of Buffy's relationships." Willow laughs a little at this. "But yes, you shouldn't go trusting him right away. But I need to know, is he cute?"

"Yes, I think so and he's got a very likable personality." But not as likable as Andrew, she thinks to herself. Why can't she get the dork out of her head? Her mind goes back to the vamp who is courting the young girl, he pulls her away to the exit that leads to the alley. Vi grips her stake and looks at Willow with a determined look on her face. "I'll be right back."

"Have fun." This reminds Willow so much of days her, Buffy, Xander, Cordelia and Oz would hang around the good old Bronze twenty four seven. But alas, the Bronze is gone and things has changed so much since Sunnydale has turned into a crater. And all their roles have changed since then, she is now a former powerful witch, almost a goddess and not to mention the lesbian thing and dating a slayer. Buffy, she retired and is travelling around Europe. Cordelia, she's in a coma and Oz, well, the post cards stopped once Sunnydale was destroyed. There are nights when she thinks about what he is doing and if he has gained control of his inner wolf. And Xander is now a watcher, she is so proud of him for getting that role, he deserves it more than all of the other newly appointed watcher's out there. Yes, she misses those people and hates the situation she's in right now with no powers. But she has a feeling that something big is going to happen soon. And that is confirmed the by imaginary figure that appears in front of her. "Your not here. I can't see you."

"Willow," Jonothan says with a smile, she can almost see through him. "Yes, you can, your illusions are getting worse, can't you feel it? How you handle the next couple of days decides your reward."

She is stunned that she is talking to a dead person, not the first time though, but she knows he can't be real. And he's trying to tell her something, but she can't get her mind around it. "What are you talking about? What reward?"

"You'll find out soon enough, but really it all depends on you. You are so close, just a few more things you need to do. Call it a test more or less, young Rosenberg."

"Who sent you?" She asks, still confused.

"Powers That Be? God? Senior Partners?"

"Senior what?" Now she's even more confused.

"Never mind, that's more of an L.A thing. The point is, it doesn't matter, just that I'm on the side of good and not the first. For once, I'm glad he's stopped using my image, hell, he hasn't used anyone's image in a while. Well, it's not really a he, more of a"¦.."

"Jonothan!" She stares at the invisible man not paying attention to the people staring at him. "Get to the point, what do I need to do?"

"That is up for you to figure out, I'm just simply the ghost dropping clues to you."

"Why you?" She asks.

"Why not Tara, right?" The ghost of Jonothan reads her mind a little bit. "To be honest, I don't know, maybe it's because I need some redeeming for my dabble into crime and Tara, she was a victim of a random shot that wasn't meant for her and she never did anything wrong. Me, I'm half the reason she died."

"So, this is how you get your wings?"

Jonothan scratches his head. "Not really sure if wings are involved anymore. I think it's more of fulfillment thing. Speaking of which, Andrew looks kind of lonely, he might need a friend."

Willow looks over at Andrew, who has apparently been drinking a little too much, then looks back at ghost Jonothan. "He not my friend, just an ally."

"Hey, he killed me and I still consider him a friend. Maybe you should learn to forgive, he has done a lot of good over the last year." He has a very sad look on his face as he says this. "Just humor him, everyone else has."

"Oh whatever," She gets up going towards Andrew. "As long as this conversation is over with."

"It almost is," Willow immediately gets up trying to get away from the ghost. "Just one more thing of advice I need to give you."

"What?" She asks frustrated with her illusions.

"Remember, you still have it in you." He says this as he fades away back into her mind. She wonders what that means as she walks to the bar.

"I thought I found my leaigh," He begins speaking to the big hairy biker next to him in a semi-drunken slur.
"Ends up I am Luke Skywalker." Andrew slams his head down on the counter laughing to himself. "Get me another Schirmnoff Ice, barkeep."

The biker gives the bartender a look. "I think this kid has had way too much to drink."

The bartender offers the biker a look. "Yeah, I'm going to call security to drag him out, it's not that he's causing trouble, he's just annoying."

"No wait," Willow says running up to the bar just getting out of a weird conversation. " He's with me." She drags Andrew off his stool and begins to carry him back to their table.

The biker looks at her, looking at him and then looking at her. "Why is a hot chick like you dating a dweeb like him?"

"We're not dating." She says trying to get Andrew away from the bar as fast as possible. "And I'm not into guys."

"I wish I was into guys again." She continues to carry the pretty drunk kid, not understanding what he is talking about as the biker and the bartender give them an awkward look, Andrew hits himself with his free right hand. "But dammit, I end up being straight, at least right now."

Willow pulls him to the table a little angry, a little amused with the drunken nerd. He sits down as Willow looks at him. "How did you get them to sell you beer, your only twenty?"

"Warren made me a fake I.D because I was the youngest in the Trio."

Willow sighs at the mention of Warren, the man she killed. She changes the subject once more. "Why are you so down? It's not really like you."

"What do you care?" He says holding his head up with his right arm.

"Excuse me?" She knows he has a point. " I care a lot."

"Yeah, about Xander and Kennedy and Vi." He looks up at her with wide eyes. "But you don't care for me, and I don't blame you. Your girlfriend died because of me."

She tries to find a way to gain his trust without making it sound like condones the death of Tara. " No, Tara died because Warren shot her. Granted, you and Jonothan didn't help, but it wasn't your fault."

"But you still don't like me."

"Sorry Andrew, if I made you feel that way, but the truth is your half right. I've always just seen you as another version of Warren, every time I look at you I see him. And that really isn't your fault either, although I'm cured of my evil phase, I still have a few things I need to get over that being one of them, I have been too hard on you. But for whatever it matters, I forgive you."

Andrew's drunken face lights up with joy for a few minutes. "Thanks that means a lot to me, Willow."

"Your welcome and I'm sorry if I made you feel left out." Willow is actually happy that she got that out, she feels almost redeemed. She looks back at her drunken comrade with a smile, although the head aches are coming back again. "So, what are you so upset about?"
"Oh, it's not that big of a deal." He says not hiding that his heart is sort of broken that well.

"There's way too many of you around nowadays, slayer." The vamp with the mullet stares Vi down as she holds up her stake. " And you chased away my prey, your going to pay."

"Do you know how many times I've heard that over the last couple of months?" Vi asks with a smile on her face. For some reason the frustration is fueling her fight this evening, she is really torn and this vampire is going to pay for it. "Your dust, get used to it."

"We'll see about that"¦." Before he gets his words out, she charges at him. He gets knocked backwards by a spinning sidekick to the vamps chin. He gets back up and does a jumping kick to his chest, sending him back into the trash cans in the alley. She picks him up and then throws him into a nearby wall, he bounces off and struggles on the ground. She picks his head up and hits him with a few right hands. She then grabs him by his mullet and throws him head first onto the gravel once more. She waits for him to get back up with a grimace on her face. "Geez, stake me already."

"Have it your way." She turns him around and puts the stake right through his heart. The goofy vampire immediately turns to dust. She blows the dust out of her way, she's surprised how much she is getting the hang of this, and she didn't even need Kennedy around to help. "I told you that you were dust, your fault for not believing me."

She stashes the stake in her wrap around purse, making sure it's not noticeable. She scans the area to make sure there are no more vampires around. Vi slowly walks through the doors back into the club, as she enters she is startled by the dimmed lighting and loud music, apparently a slow song has just began. She looks at all the couples who are holding each other and swaying back and forth, at that moment she wonders where Andrew is, maybe he might have the guts to ask her to dance, maybe. She considers the odds of him asking her to dance and realizes that she better just ask him herself, she finds herself really wanting to. She looks up and scans the balcony, he's talking to Willow, he looks a little happier. She decides she's going to take the intiative and let him know that she is somewhat interested. She begins to make her way to the stairs, but a hand grabs her shoulder.

"You shouldn't be going up there when a slow song is playing." She looks back at the handsome, even more confident face of Dorian Sykes. She thinks that maybe he followed her, but then decides it's just coincidence. "You should be on the floor with someone, not hanging out on the balcony. A pretty girl like you deserves that."

"Um, well, Dorian. I was just about to"¦." She looks back up at Andrew, who appears to be in a heavy conversation with Willow, then looks back at the very handsome if sometimes high and drunk Dorian. She gives him a sweet smile and takes his hand. "I'd love to Dorian."

"Excellent." As he leads her to the dance floor, she thinks that there is something very different about him now than earlier today. Something in his eyes isn't right, but she doesn't care about that now as he takes her onto the floor. This is actually her first slow dance, so she is very nervous, but as he puts his arms around her waist she finds it easy to wrap her arms around his shoulders, soon she finds herself resting her head on her shoulders. Deep down inside, she hopes Andrew is watching.

"Oh, look how cute." Willow points out Vi dancing with the long haired boy in an old ripped up Misfits shirt. "That must be the guy she met at school, he is pretty handsome. That's so adorable."

She looks back at Andrew, who just began smiling a little bit, now it looks like he is going to cry. He gulps before he answers her. "Yeah, adorable." The disappointment grows as he continues to watch the two dance, getting ever closer. He didn't know a girl could make him hurt so much inside, but now it's happening. "Like an episode of "˜Fantasy Island'"

Willow gives him a glance, wondering why his mood changed back to being mopy so quickly. "Andrew? What's wrong? Aren't you happy for"¦." Then something occurs to her, this should have crossed her mind a long time ago. "Wait, just a minute."

He knows what she is about to ask so he tries to excuse himself. "I'm going to go wait in the car. See you later."

Willow grabs the lanky Andrew as he begins to leave, she puts him back in his seat. "No, wait, Andrew?"
She looks deep into his eyes, amazed that he might feel the way she thinks he feels. Despite the now much more painful head ache, a wide smile crosses her face. " You have the warm fuzzies for Vi, don't you."

"No," he tries his hardest to deny it, but his eyes are saying something else. " What makes you think that? I think I'm gay."

"Oh my god, no your not." She can't believe she is actually happy that Andrew has a thing for the young slayer. " I can tell in your eyes, you've fallen for her. Andrew loves Vi." She sings in a childish almost high school Willow voice.

"Quit it," He turns his head, very bashful. "It's nothing."

"No, I think it's something. And it's much more adorable than her dancing with that ratty guy." She asks herself is she really bonding with the last person she expected to.

"Didn't you just say that he was cute."

"Cute for a high schooler," She tries to deny her earlier words. "But you're a manly adult. Oh wait, you can go to jail for dating her."

"So could've Angel for dating Buffy." Andrew points out actually defending himself.

"That's kind of a different story, but I see your point. Does Xander know?" Again, fifteen minutes ago, she didn't even want to sit next to him, now she wants to hook him up with a slayer.

"Yeah, he figured it out last night, he talked to me about her this morning before they went off to school." He pauses. "I tried asking her out on a date, but I flaked and ended up just rambling."

"Do you know how many times that happened when me and Oz first got together? It's not something out of the ordinary, Andrew." She tries to motivate him.

"Well," he looks back at Vi and the ratty boy who continue to dance after the slow song is over with. "It looks like I missed my chance." He gets up and grabs his coat off the chair, stumbling a little bit.

"Andrew," She tries to get him to stay. "You can't think like that."

He looks back at her running into a couple of chairs while doing so. "Yes, I can. Look at him, confident and better looking and her age. Me, I'm a dork he killed his best friend, I can't compete." He struggles putting the coat back on, very depressed. "I'll be in the car whenever she's ready to move her patrol somewhere."
Andrew walks away with a very sad look on her face, Willow feels really bad for him.

Maybe five minutes go by and the whole club begins to spin again, Willow hasn't drank anything, but still the rooms spinning in front of her. The the spinning continues the room begins to take a blue-ish color, it feels like she is now leaving reality. Voices of people from her past laugh at her, they love how powerless she has become and now she can't do anything about it. Memories of her transition into evil arise, this is kind of how that felt, except in reverse this time. She feels herself being changed, being drained of something, she tries not to scream out in pain and she manages to hold it in. Willow tries to think straight, this is the worst it has ever been (save for the draining force field). She thinks that whatever power is draining her and protecting Ethan, is close by, sucking even more out of her. She looks for any signs of magical activity going on, but she can't see straight anymore. Now she finds herself wanting Kennedy around more than ever, she's her kite string.

Willow begins stumbling to the bathroom, knocking things over, making an even bigger scene then when she was talking to herself/Jonothan earlier in the evening. More and more she is hearing voices of all the monsters she has faced, The Master, Angelus, The Mayor, Glory, and Warren, they are all there mocking her. She is now in tears as the pain and confusion push even further into her mind. This trek to the woman's room proves to very long and straining, seems like an hour. She thinks she is going to be passing out soon, so she needs to be away from everyone, so security doesn't kick her out. Finally, she lunges through the doors of the ladies room, luckily there is no other woman around to see her go through her little spiel of insanity. She falls down in front of the sinks and mirrors, in tears wishing the pain would go away right now.

The doors of the restroom open up and a voice calls for her. "Are you okay?" A hand touches Willow's shoulder, almost caressing it. Suddenly, the pain and spinning is gone, she is beginning to feel normal again avision is coming back to her. She listens to the voice as the lady continues to speak. "I saw you freak out in the balcony there and figure I would come to see if you were alright."

Willow let's the lady help her up, as her vision comes back. Not looking at the lady, she begins to speak. "No, I'm better, just had a little too much to "¦." She looks up at the person who helped her back up and a feeling dread overcomes the young lady. She is looking at herself, or who she used be when she was evil for a couple of days.

The pale skinned woman smiles now that Willow notices her. "I finally got myself up to your level." The black eyes, the white skin, the veins popping out of her forehead and the dark black eyes, she is standing face to face with evil Willow. Not exactly evil Willow, the face is just a little different. Willow realizes that what she is looking at is worse than dark Rosenberg, somebody who wasn't stable in the first place. "Are you happy to see me?"

"Oh god, no!" Willow utters as her evil counter part stares at her. "What have you done to yourself?"

"Just following in your footsteps, honey." The evil witch grins.

Here's more:
Xander leaves the Seymore household disappointed in the results he got from the twins, he's knows it's wrong to go through the school's records to get information for his "˜full time' job, but he had no other lead. When he talked to their mother, she said she had no clue where they were at, they don't usually come home until after 3:00. Xander thinks that's really great parenting for wreckless teens with super powers, but then again, Joyce was the same way with Buffy. But the difference between Joyce and these girls parents is that she cared for her daughters, this lady obviously did not. In fact, this lady was probably gets as drunk and high as her daughters, society sure isn't the way it was portrayed on TV when he was growing up. He mumbles to himself. " I miss the days of Uncle Jesse and Uncle Joey."

"What are you talking about." The always impatient Kennedy says from the passenger seat. "Never mind, did you find any information on the girls?"

"Nothing helpful, but I think their mom came on to me. Kind of flattering." He smiles at his charge as the car starts, apparently Kennedy finds no humor in this. She doesn't really find humor in anything he says.

"Whatever, let's just find the girls and end this whole thing for good."

"It's not going to be that easy, Kennedy." He hates to admit it, but it's the truth.

"Why not? Me and Vi are slayers, this shouldn't be happening to us." Kennedy pouts.

"Yes, it should be happening to you, this is a learning experience for all of us." He is just as worried as she is, but he has learned to keep his cool through these situations.

"How can you say that, this is serious, not some lesson."

"Actually, life is a lesson, now you and me for that matter are learning that there are much smarter animals out there. Just never thought it would be Ethan Raine who would out smart us. It's time to face that our arrival was planned well before we got here." He surprised that more and more his speech is maturing, he's sounding a lot like other adults out there and not the slacker kid he used to be.

"Did you get a book of "˜watcher' dialogue along with the paperwork for being my watcher, because that sounded so planned." Kennedy says still very upset.

"Yeah, it's not like me. Look, I'm growing." He smiles trying to get at least smile out of his slayer because although they have nothing in common, the two of them need to get along. Honestly, he it's not that he doesn't like her, it's that he's trying to get this new occupation under way and it doesn't help to have a stubborn and just plain mean slayer. "Kennedy, what's your problem with me?"

She looks at him, actually think that herself, she doesn't know. "You get on my nerves is all."

"I get on your nerves because I'm trying to be your watcher or because I'm telling you how to do your job?" He asks, very offended by this snotty brat.

"Your not a slayer, there's no way you know how to be one. It's not your fault, you just don't understand me. I know your just trying to help, but it would probably be best if a more trained watcher was around."

He stops the car in the middle of a walmart parking lot and just looks at her, very angry at this girls ignorance. "Xander, what are you stopping for?"

"I'm stopping because I am so sick and tired of your know it all attitude. No, I'm not a slayer, but I have been a good friend of one for years"¦."

"That's not the same thing." Kennedy interrupts.

"Kennedy, let me finish what I'm saying." He tries to calm her down.

"No, I won't." She begins being very defensive. "Your just going to go on about how you have spent years fighting by Buffy's side and you, her and Willow faced so many demons and vampires. So that makes you the best choice to be my watcher."

"Yes, it does." He is going to continue but then he realizes the look in her eyes, it's the same one Anya had when Willow would be around for the first couple of months of their relationship. "Wait, this isn't about me being your watcher is it?"

She looks closer at him. "Yes it is."

He begins to smile. "No, no it isn't. You are so jealous of me, you don't like my friendship with Willow."
She sits quietly not saying anything for a moment. "She talks about you a lot."

He smiles and tries to explain things to her. "And you think she's going to pull an Anne Heche and go after me?"

"I know it sounds insane, but it's just"¦." Kennedy pauses trying to think of what it is that Willow does to make her jealous.

"You want her attention to be on you twenty four seven." Xander looks at her and she knods.

"I thought after Sunnydale, she would be able to concentrate on the relationship."

"You are quite the selfish little girl aren't you?"

She actually gives her watcher a smile. "Yep, that's me."

He grins back thinking back to high school. "I was in a relationship where I felt the same way, the more I tried to get her attention, the more she was into herself and clothes and being popular. But at least Willow is more concerned with protecting the world and the slayer line more than clothes and popularity. And she really does care about you. Hell, she loves you."

"I know that, but still I feel"¦." She looks into the rearview mirror and her eyes go wide. "Duck"

Now Xander is confused, his one good eyebrow raises. "You feel a duck?"

"NO!" She grabs Xander and pushes herself and him down beneath the dash board. "DUCK!" Suddenly, the back window of the car collapses and an arrow hits the dash board of the car.

"I just got done with payments for this thing, who the hell is doing this?" He looks at Kennedy as they both begin to grab weapons from the back seat.

"Who do you think?" Kennedy asks sarcastically.

"Twins?" He grabs a battle axe and is about to open the drivers door, Kennedy's hand stops him.

"What do you think your doing?" She has a staff in her other hand.

"Going out there to help."

"Sorry," She begins as another arrow hits the seat that Xander is crouching by, just misses his head. "But that is one thing that is not your job. So you stay."

"We don't know what they are capable of, they could be willing to kill for Ethan."

"That's why you are driving away once I begin fighting with the girls and go grab us that other slayer." She orders to her watcher.

"That's not happening. I'm fighting with you." Another arrow goes through the window on Xander's side.

"Alright," Kennedy rolls her eyes. "Try not to get yourself killed, would look bad on your resume as watcher."

He gives her a thumbs up from his side of the under siege car. "Alright, you give the count."

Both grab the handles of their perspective doors on the car. "One"¦.." They both grip their weapons firmly, she looks at him making sure he is ready. "Two"¦"¦THREE!"
They both roll out with arrows from crossbows shooting at them, hitting Xander's car. Once Kennedy is on her feet, but Xander already has been tackled by Elaina and goes down. Kennedy gets up looking face to face with Eliza who has the cross bow pointed right at her, she holds the staff up ready for battle. "We have something you want."

Kennedy flashes a smart ass smile. "Then you should give it back."

Elaina holds Xander up from outside the other side of his now beat up car. "Oh, but it doesn't belong to you, it should go to the most worthy slayer. You know the ones who have out smarted the others." Elaina has the scythe up against Xander's neck. "Did you ever have a watcher killed right in front of your eyes girly."

"Actually, yeah I have." She smiles at Xander. "I would be worried for him, if I knew that you girls weren't bluffing. But you are, slayers don't kill humans."

"The new generation of slayers kills whoever gets in their way." Eliza smiles still holding the crossbow right towards Kennedy.

"So," Xander begins from underneath the scythe. "What are we getting in the way of exactly, because honestly, we don't and we sure would like to know."

"Hush, you." Elaina begins. "Your not allowed to ask questions.

"So, why did you attack us?" Kennedy asks staring into the eyes of Elaina.

"Well, we don't like nosy teachers asking our idiotic mother about our where abouts." Eliza begins.

"And we came to give you an ultimatum." Elaina finishes.

"Ultimatum?" Xander asks choking.

Eliza struts up closer to Kennedy with a wicked smile. "You leave town and you don't lose your lives."

Elaina smiles from behind Xander. "And we are not just talking about you two."

"That's right, we'll kill your little girlfriend," She knods to Kennedy.

"And your student and that nerdy little brother, their deaths will be most painful."

"And we believe you how?" Xander asks. "Ethan has always been into creating mayhem, but he never actually killed someone."

"Oh no," Eliza begins. "Ethan doesn't care if you live or die, he knows his plan will through without a hitch. This is our ultimatum, he doesn't even know we are giving it to you. We want to make this as easy as possible for everyone."

"That's very generous of you." Xander gasps as Elaina holds tighter to him, it feels like she's grinding behind him. "What do you say Kennedy? Are we going to leave."

"I'm thinking hell no." With no gesture what so ever, Kennedy lunges at Eliza, knocking the crossbow out of her arms.

"Well, watcher looks like you die." Elaina whispers in Xander's ear. But then Elaina is pulled off of Xander and thrown to the ground.

"Yee-haw," Xander looks behind him to see a man in a cowboy hat hooting and hollering at the top of his lungs. "You girls are going to pay for dusting my posse." Xander immediately realizes who this is, given the bumpy forehead and accent, this must be the famous Lyle Gorch. Gorch goes to pound on the girl, but she hits him with the non sharp side of the scythe.

"Oh look Eliza, our little cowboy friend has joined in." She kicks Gorch in the groin and he groans. His hat goes flying off as she tosses him onto the hood of the car. As he lays on the car, Elaina comes up to bring the Scythe down onto his head. "Time to finish you off, redneck." As she goes for the dusting blow, Xander is able to trip her up, so she misses and Gorch dodges the Scythe. The Scythe leaves a pretty big mark on the hood of the car.

Gorch stands up and looks at Xander. "Thanks, I owe you one. I won't feed off you this time." He actually helps Xander to his feet.

"And I won't stake you." Xander can't believe what he saying to a famously ruthless vampire. "Uh, this time."

They both look at Elaina who is getting to her feet. "That girl over there that's fighting with the other twin. She a slayer?"

"Yep."

" Why are slayers fighting each other?" Lyle asks very confused.

"These two have been very naughty." Xander answers his unlikely ally for the moment.

"Well," Gorch says, getting in a tackling stance, Xander joins him. "Let's give them a spankin, pardner." As Elaina gets to her feet, both watcher and cowboy vampire charge at her knocking her to the ground. Xander tries to get the scythe out of her hands, but she won't budge.

On the other side of the car, Kennedy is handing a pretty good beating to Eliza. A few kicks and hits with the staff and Eliza is on the ground, squirming from beneath the staff. Kennedy looks at her with wild eyes and a smile. "Not so tough without your scythe are you?"

"Go to hell, bitch." Eliza mutters.

"And oh, it looks like your sis is also getting beat on too." Kennedy is tempted to just break the girls neck, but she doesn't. She's not a killer like these girls could be. "Now here's where ultimatum comes in"¦." But before she can finish her little speech, Eliza pushes her off, making her fly a few feet.

"Elaina, it's time to go." Eliza begins running off as Elaina gets the vamp and the watcher off of her sending both of them flying onto the car.

Elaina blows both men a kiss. "Catch you two boys later. That was rough, but didn't really please me." She follows her sister and they disappear into the night.

"Ow," Lyle says beside Xander. "Damn, those girls are slick." He looks over at the human who saved his ass.

"Yeah, I noticed." Xander agrees watching Gorch get back up. "Aren't vamps supposed to be a little stronger."

"Hey, I'm giving you a free ride with no drinking of your blood, get off my ass." Lyle says defensively.

"Hey," Xander begins. "I could have the slayer stake you here and now."

"And what's stopping me from doing so." Kennedy asks standing from behind Lyle ready to attack.

"Because, as much as I hate to admit it, he helped us. We let him go." He wants to just let her stake him, but they do need all the help they can get.

"But Xander, he's a vamp." Kennedy complains.

"Yes, I noticed. But"¦." He begins.

"Oooh, you are a feisty little slayer aren't you?" Lyle glares at Kennedy. "Too bad your not the slayer I'm after right now or we would have to have ourselves a nice little dance right here and now."

"You must really hate them." Xander gets up looking at Gorch making sure he doesn't try anything. "To put off another slayer to kill those two, not to mention teaming up with her and her watcher."

"They dusted my whole posse," He looks over at Xander. "My revenge on them is more important to me then two piss ant varmints like you."

"Xander, let me dust him. He'going to go off and kill others." Kennedy begs.

Lyle begins to sniff for a few seconds. "Well, as much as I'm loving our little campfire here. I need to continue on their trail. Once I'm done with them, believe me girly, I'll be coming back for you." With that Lyle runs off in the hunt for the girls.

They watch the vamp to make sure he doesn't back track to finish them off early. Kennedy looks at her watcher. "Xander, should we follow him to find out where the girls are hiding out?"

"Defintely." They make their way into the car as his cell phone rings. He answers it and is immediately worried. "What? Attacked? She's bleeding and screaming? Vi's dancing with another guy? Okay, we'll be right over." He hangs up the phone and puts it back in his pocket.

Kennedy is now worried too. "What? What's wrong."

He looks at Andrew, very upset. "That was Andrew, he says something happened to Willow. We need to go help them. We'll need to take care of the girls later." The two hop into the car, luckily it still starts, and take off to make sure Willow is all right.

Alright, I'm done with my break from the fic. Here's a little something more. It's not too long:"Do you know how long I've waited for this day?" A jolt fills Willow's body as her old nemesis stares down at her in exquisite excitement. In these last couple of seconds she realizes that deep down inside she knew all along, Jonothan even gave her enough hints for it to be clear. But now, at the very moment where it matters, she denied it. But now Willow Rosenberg knows the truth, Amy is back, and at almost close to the level of evil that she was at two years ago. Amy points at her as another jolt of green lighting hits her body. " And the fact that you didn't even figure it was me was the kicker of it all. I thought you were a whole lot smarter than that honey."

"Amy," Willow asks in gut wrenching pain as more of Amy's blasts hit her. "You don't know what you have gotten yourself into, once you've gone to that place it's hard to go back to being normal."

"Why would I want to go back to who I was before hand." Her attention is taken away from her and she looks to the side of her with even more anger. "I told you to shut up mom." She turns her gaze back to Willow. "Now, now I am a goddess."

"Yeah Amy, how did you get to that level?" Willow asks laying on the ground with blood trickling down her mouth. "Did you earn your powers? Or did you do like your mom did and steal something for it?"

Willow is hit by another bolt of green lighting. "Don't you ever talk about my mom, it was you guys who tried to convince me that she was evil. But what I realized growing up, she was a great woman and a very powerful witch. I'm making her proud now, I am now all powerful, even more powerful than her." Here eyes glow a bright green color as tries to work through the pain that is unbearable, but she is strong enough to work through it for now. Amy changes the subject back to Willow's accusation. "And yeah, I stole your essence, but it just gave me a "˜little' boost to get to all powerful status, until you came to town I was just on the verge of an all powerful wicca. Thanks Will, I couldn't have done it without you"

"Or without Ethan?" Willow says with contempt.

"Yep, Ethan was the plan man, he knew about the Cleveland hellmouth and figured that Buffy and her clan would be marching on down here once the one in Sunnydale was destroyed. Hell, Ethan was wandering around Sunnydale through out the last couple of months. He found me right after I performed that spell that turned you into your lover's killer. Together we went here to prepare for the chaos that he truly desired and the revenge that I always wanted." She smiles with a vengeance and levitates Willow off the floor of the women's bathroom. "And things went better than we expected, we didn't know you would perform a spell that would turn every potential into a slayer. But once we knew, I was able to locate the two in this area and just our luck, they weren't goody two shoes like you and Buffy. Eliza and Elaina were wild girls and Ethan came in took them under his wing and turned them into what they are today."

Floating in the air, Willow realizes that she needs to pump information out of her. "So what's next, we fell for your trap, what is your ultimate goal?"

"To kill you, dear Willow." Willow drifts closer to the dark Amy. "I don't want it that way. But now I'm just convinced there is no other option, your just too much competition for me." Once she is face to face with Willow she wraps her right hand around her neck, the resemblance between her and the evil Willow of old is now unmistakeable. Same skin tone, same dark eyes, same dark hair, even the smile is almost the same. Amy begins to whisper into Willow's ear. "But killing you now won't be any fun, would it?"

"Your going to hell Amy." Willow chokes out.

"New flash, I will rule the heavens. I am beyond hell nowadays anyways, if any one of us is bound for hell, I'm sure it's you." Amy takes her hand off Willow neck and just leaves her floating for a couple of seconds. With a point of her finger, Willow is flung into one of the stalls behind her. She hits the wall and falls to the ground. She watches Amy disappear as she passes out into a dark void.

Thanks PArker, but is their anyone else reading this or is the story really sucking that bad, becasue I';m not getting responses anymore, I feel left out. Anyways, here's more:

Dorian and Vi finish up there dance and walk back to the table that she was sitting at with Andrew and Willow, but both of them are gone now. That just leaves the two of them, which she doesn't mind at all. Dorian stares at her with deceptive eyes, she swoons a little over this probably evil young man's charm. "So do you like having sex before marriage?" Dorian asks with a sly smile.

Vi is shocked that he asks this question so quickly. "I don't know."

Dorian now looks very upset, but then recovers. "Well, why don't we try it out?"

"What?" Vi is shocked at how direct this boy is. "I'm sorry I don't know you that well."

"Come on Vi. Just a little go around, then we can do drugs and watch old TJ Hooker reruns." He grabs her hand. She pulls away, but he holds his grasp.

"Dorian, let go of me." Vi struggles a little bit.

"No, not until you give it up." Dorian's eyes turn red as she continues to try and pull away from him. "Do you see how important you are to me? I need you to fulfill my destiny, my clan's destiny." Rage fills his face as she finally gets out of his reach and steps back from the table a little bit.

"What are you talking about?" She asks not understanding what is going on.

"Vi, there is something you should know about me." Suddenly, in front of everyone in the club, he begins to morph into something very big. He has turned into a 7 foot tall demon with red eyes and long horns coming out of it's forehead, his skin is now a reddish color. Vi takes a few more steps back and reaches for a stake. "That's not going to hurt me slayer, I am all powerful."

Vi charges at the once handsome boy turned sex crazed demon, but he knocks her back. She flips back up and begins exchanging punches and kicks with the beast. He blocks most of her attacks, Vi continues to get frustrated that none of her attacks are phasing this guy. The ugly demon throws her back as she crashes into a table. The demon trudges over to the girl is sprawled on the ground, he is ready to make to finish the young slayer off. "Are you ready to die?"

"Stay away from her you fiend!" A voice yells from across the balcony. Everyone turns to see Andrew, wearing his trademark "˜Matrix' jacket and shades, swinging on a loose piece of wire towards the balcony. He let's go of the wire and lunges ontop of the demon, knocking him backwards to the wall.

"Andrew, you're here!" Vi says happy that her hero has arrived.

The demon looks up at Andrew and he just smiles at the monster. "This time it's personal." The demon once known as Dorian charges at Andrew, but Andrew hits him with a drop kick that sends him backwards once more. The young nerd tackles the evil demon to the ground as Vi watches on in awe of her new hero. The demon struggles underneath, Andrew hits him with lefts and rights, then spits in his face. He gets off the demon and steps back with a very confident grin. "You thought you could step in to my town and sacrifice my girl. Well, think again Mr., because you just brought yourself a war you cannot win."

The demon who used to be Dorian stands up and chuckles at him. "First round goes to you, young man. But you forget that you are facing a lord of the sith." Out of nowhere the demon pulls out a light saber that glows red.

Andrew looks at him not worried at all, although Vi does worry for his safety from the side. "Ah, seems I have found myself a formidable foe." He pulls something out his jacket, his own green light saber. Andrew grins with pleasure. "But I too am trained in the ways of the force. Let's finish this, you vile scum."

Andrew and the demon lunge at each other swinging their sabers at full force, both going at it like full fledged jedi knights. Andrew quickly takes control of the battle forcing the demon back with quick saber strikes. The demon suddenly gets second wind and starts striking with a vengeance at Andrew, he dodges each attack and counters everyone. The demon looks at him with anger and grins as he puts his weapon to his feet, Andrew holds to his saber ready for the next move. "Seems like you have me beat. Well played." The quickly grabs Vi, she looks scared to death of this monster. "But I will still get what I want." He takes Vi and hops off the balcony onto ground level.

"I don't think so." Andrew flips off the balcony and lands right behind the demon, putting his light saber away. The demon looks back with Vi struggling in his arms.

"You never give up do you?" The red monster scowls at Andrew as Vi screams in fear.

"You touch my lady love, you just made me angry." Andrew's eyes glow a bright yellow color as the demon steps away. "And you don't want to see me when I'm angry." Andrew's parts his legs as a yellow glow surrounds the nerd like some bad japanese cartoon, the demon shoves Vi to the ground. The red demon now looks scared of what he is going to do next. It seems like Andrew's hair has grown and is sticking straight up in spikes, it has now turned a bleach blonde color.
"Oh, so your not only a jedi, but your also a super saiyan. You are very powerful." The demon replies.

"Prepare to feel my wrath, fiend." Andrew sticks his hands out and puts his hands together, ready to unleash his rage on the monster. He begins to scream at the top of his lungs. "Ka-mayha" The yellow glow swirls even more around him as his biceps bulge and his jacket and shirt rips off his body revealing his rippling chest, he continues to yell. "MAYHA!" A ball of energy begins to swirl in his hands as the demon begins to run away. "MAYHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" The energy bursts out of the hands of the nerd, it strikes the demon turning him into ashes within impact.

Andrew stares at the gray pile that used to be the demon named Dorian, his body trickling with sweat, he puts his shades on as the yellow glow fades. "Game! Set! Match!"

Vi runs up to him and embraces him with a tight hold, he returns that embrace. "You saved my life." Then she kisses him on the cheek.

He stares at her with a pleased smile. "All in a days work." He spins her around and gives her a big fat kiss on the lips. But then a voice interrupts him from continuing the kiss.

"ANDREW!!"

Andrew wakes up from his day and realizes that Vi is in real life screaming for his help from the parking lot, somewhere near the car. "Andrew, help, something has happened to Willow." Andrew swings open the door to see Vi and her new friend rushing a bloody and beaten Willow to the car. A very worried looks crosses his face as he realizes that he was just having a conversation with Willow and it didn't look like there was in trouble floating about at the time. "She's hurt, bad." Vi says as Andrew joins in and helping her towards the car.

"What happened?" Andrew asks taking Willows legs, although he is very light, he can handle it.

"I don't know," Vi begins, very worried, her long haired friend looks just as upset as the two of them. "Somebody found her in the women's room like this, they were going to take her to the hospital, but I said we would take care of it."

"Let's just get her in the car." Dorian commands the two.

"I'm sorry are you in charge here?" Andrew says struggling with Willow's legs, he usually wouldn't be that vocal with someone he didn't like. But still, he really doesn't like this guy and he is very panicked.

"Well, you don't really look like the leadership type, slim." The rebel answers him.

Vi senses that these two don't like eachother already. "Stop, let's just get her in the car."

Dorian looks at her, still mad at Andrew. "Your right."

Andrew also stares at her, wanting to continue to argue with this boy, but he is willing to do whatever she says. "As you wish." He looks at her, hoping she got the "˜Princess Bride' reference, she didn't. He let's her down for a few seconds to open the car door and pushes up the drivers seat. "Okay, get her now. Where are we taking her?" In a few seconds they get her in the back seat and Andrew gets in the drivers seat and fumbles through the glove compartment.

"The hospital." Vi answers.

Andrew pulls out a cell phone and begins speed dials a number. "Alright, I'm calling Xander." Then he looks at Dorian with disgust. "He's not coming."

"Bite me, fan boy." Dorian scowls as Andrew begins speaking over the phone. He looks at Vi hopeful. "I'm coming with, right?"

Vi thinks it about for a few seconds as Andrew rolls up the window, not wanting to see the two of them talk anymore. Then she remembers that she can't let him know that she's in league with Xander, their shop teacher. "Sorry, but this is family bussiness."

He grabs her hand and caresses her fingers, she glows a little bit at this. "Okay, who is he anyway? Your brother?"

She hates to do this to Andrew. "Yeah, he's my half brother."

His hand reaches her cheek and massages it. "Well, he's a real ass clown, but you, I really like you." They both make eye contact for a few seconds. "How about a date? I know it's bad timing, but what the hell."

"I don't know." She looks at Andrew who is still talking to Xander, she really wants to make him jealous. "Yeah, you got it."

"Sweet!" Dorian is now very happy with this. "Tomorrow okay with you?"

"Yeah, we'll talk more about it tomorrow." She gives him a tender smile as their hands embrace tightly. "I gotta go though."

He flashes her a confident smile. "Until then." He grabs her head and pulls her toward him bringing her in for a kiss. They lip lock for a good five seconds, no frenching though. In her mind she is overcome with glee, this is her first kiss, she didn't know it would be like this, but deep down inside she wishes it was Andrew.

Their kiss is interrupted by the voice of And. "Vi, we gotta go, Xander will meet us at the hospital."

They stop as Vi looks towards Andrew, a little angry at him for ruining this moment, but he's right, this is an emergency. "I need to go, Dorian. I'll see you tomorrow at school." She says as she hops into the passenger seat, glowing once more.

He waves back at her with two fingers. "You got it." And with that, Andrew drives off in frustration over this new boy. On the car ride there, Vi and Andrew say nothing to eachother, although they both know what they are thinking, the silence already says enough for them.
