It's because something that suits you may not suit everyone, I know there is no way I could watch an episode of Buffy every 3 days, I just wouldn't have the time, you do have to take others time into consideration.

Everyone doesn't have to join in, others aren't thinking about everyone either, if you can't watch 1 episode of buffy every 3 days.... then okay....

We'll have to do 1 episode every seven days and take 2 years to watch em all. I guess I'll have to listen to everyone else and fall in line. You have all shown me I am wrong and my idea is at fault. One of you can start the ep discussions starting with the first ep in season one all the way to the end.

I'll be happy to participate but it won't be the same in hearing everyones feelings as they watch them over in order because of the time lag, I'll of course will watch them again by myself ^.^ and just come back the eps to discuss with everyone else, Thank you BEG, I should have thought about others and not myself.

You do realise this isn't something you have to do right? The reason it was set with such a large gap was to give the most amount of time for people to see the episodes. You can watch the season as whatever pace you want, but by setting a large gap you can get the most amount of people to see them!

You did just see me agree with you, no more reason to post ^_^ I'll let others do it and have the long 7 day intervals, I'm game.

Excuse you but when did I say that? I just said it might be better to watch an ep a week. I said nothing about the season overviews. The only reason I said it was because I wouldn't have the time to watch a whole season in a week, not with work and college. It was just a suggestion, nothing more. I'm not trying to pick a fight but don't put words in my mouth to back up your own argument.

I agree I agree I agree everything I said is stupid and I'm not going to do it!!! Can we please leave it at that, I don't wish to argue and yet everyone keeps posting.

We are not "dragging things on", you keep making posts feeling sorry for yourself and accusing us of "ganging up on you" and twisting Keanoite's words. We're simply responding to your idea and your continued persecution complex.

Okay, okay... everyone back to your corners.

Here's what we'll do:

We will of course continue our weekly discussion. That was the main reason for opening this part of the boards...to have a weekly discussion of the episodes in order. Just like we would've done when they were still on the air.

If anybody wants to start another discussion thread, they are free to do so. They just need to understand that some people might not respond to it for various reasons. Whether it be an interest in the topic, or a lack of time. It doesn't matter. Everyone is free to respond as they wish.

So, let's play nice!

GATEGOD, this is what we are currently doing. One episode a week.
 
After much reflection, it has been decided that in this particular forum of the boards (The group episode discussion), we will focus on the weekly discussion and other discussions that are part of the group.

If anybody has any discussion ideas (such as discussing a season in it's entirety or specialized character discussions), those are to be posted in their correct forums. For example, if you want to discuss season two of Buffy, you may in the season 2 forum.

It will just keep everything neater and more well-run.
 
I know that I'm a little late with this, but since I sorta butted into your Faith discussion, would anybody mind if I joined?
 
Nope, not at all. People join at random points all the time. Just wander over to the Anne and Dead Man's Party discussions as I believe those are the episodes we're up to now 🙂
 
I'm announcing that I'm joining the episode discussion group. I've seen all of the episodes several times, but I've never had a chance to discuss my thoughts on them. If I'm welcome here, I'll gladly add whatever I can to the discussions.
